Survivor is easy
Now deep down everyone knows that true but what some of you may not know is that after this patch....its still true.
Ive progressively seen more and more people post about it being unplayable. I haven't been able to play in about a week but after the patch i almost exclusively played survivor because killer can be such a chore (ironically survivor gameplay literally revolves around chores)
Ive been a survivor main since the blight did the impossible and made me more interested in playing a new survivor than the killer, but not only do i not play perfectly i don't even try. Still, mostly escapes. As a solo, duo, and trio. And this was even with the disappointing lack of baby nurses. I keep hearing how bad the hitboxes are and yeah they are bullshit....like they've always been? I realize its PC players who are mostly complaining but ive seen my friends use this as an excuse for why they die too.
All im saying is maybe survivor is too hard for you guys...maybe try killer? We could use the reduced que times

ACTually i have played nothing but perkless powerless trapper and hage 4k every single game, i actually let my dog play and he normally 4ks too thats how easy killer is. I don't want to play killer because its too easy its BORING!
Oh also you aren't the only one that finds its easy to escape, i escape every game too but it doesn't change the fact the game is broken, not everyone is a good like me and can escape no matter what.

If survivor gameplay is easy, then that means the killer your going up against isn't good. Like the other guy said, if the other side is bad at the game then whatever side your playing will be easy.

It was inspired by someone saying their 3 year old was having a blast 4king in red ranks. Like unironically as something they really wanted people to believe because.....it would make them feel better about dying? I really wish this game was built around survivors dying, like the plot would suggest. But at this point with this survivor playerbase i doubt it would really happen. Fun isnt fun winning is fun, even if the killer is afk or an actual dog if i escape they are dog ######### because...im really good...and they suck. But even if they were good it doesn't matter because im REALLY good!
That mentality isn't exclusive to dbd but something i always thought exposed human nature. To say who you beat (or even more often beat you) sucks is to demean yourself you're basically saying YOU suck. But people on a very large scale would rather try to make someone else feel worse than value their own skill at the game. I think in dbd its just worse because one side is a lot more skill based than the other

I think what your saying is a bit flawed. If a killer gets a 4k it doesn't automatically mean that the survivors stuck. There are a bunch of different factors in DBD that helps contribute to the killer or survivors winning. Stuff like map RNG, the perks the killer and survivors are running, the players playsyle, the type of killer ect.
Also consider this sanario. If a killer who is really bad goes against a really great survivor and wins because the survivor didn't care about winning and threw the game does that mean the killer is better? No it doesn't. What about if the really good survivor gets killed by his teammate? Does that mean the survivor is bad? No it doesn't.

How hard is a certain game for killer/surv depends on a lot of factors. Everyone who is being honest and plays both sides knows that not every game for one side is easy or hard.
Ranking up is easy tho if you play a lot. Escaping and 4k'ing every game isn't easy nor possible.

Solo survivor is easy af right now. I lost track of how often i escaped. Even with trash builds.

That’s the thing RNG is the difficulty of this game. If it’s a meta build Freddy on saloon then that’s a killer sided game but if it’s addon less wraith on haddonfield then it’s survivor sided

Can’t say the same myself but damn those must be lower rank killers then. Most of my killers will mop the floor with my team obviously depending on the map but still

Proof? I mean you can cherry pick or try until you get lucky and do it 20 times in a row but it is not a norm.
See some big streamers for example playing this game regularly. They don't 4k and escape every game.

Theres plenty of videos where content creators have gotten escape / 4k streaks. A big example is Otzdarva.

I too, win every game by just running no mither at rank 1 as a solo survivor, while looping the killer for 5 gens and tapping gens to completion while still in a chase

Tbf it’s probably because I run off meta most the time and fight a lot of Freddy’s spirit’s and nurse so the outcome is kinda expected

Yeah, the exceptions are the matches where someone disconnects or suicides on the first hook.

I agree on Freddy not nurse though. Nurse is only strong when someone is good at them hence why most nurses don’t do well
Freddy has actual counterplay and if you keep awake you should be okay but teammates tend not to wake up and unsafe save while asleep.

I mean I can just post screenshots of easier matches I had. I'd like to see a video of a full day of playing, would make it more accurate.

I mean a slight cooldown and addon nerfs hasn’t killed her. She’s still the only good tournament killer besides maybe spirit

I literally say i mostly play solo lol. It doesn't change the difficulty of running the killer. And again i get hit through every single vault if the killer is within a mile of me BEFORE this update ever rolled out. Yeah if your teammates do literally nothing you're down bad but what i don't understand, and this may actually be life changing to some of yall, why don't you run the killer to your Tammates who aren't doing anything? You can't always find them but chances are the killer will take the easy prey letting you A. Do gens or B. Get ready for a hatch game. I mean thats the crazy ass thing right even if you don't get a single gen done the game will still give you a chance for a free escape it spoonfeeds you.
I mean in losing game even in a duo its really likely one of use will get hatch. Like REALLY likely since you can also control when it opens. But obviously nobody cares this is why the game should revolve around survivors dying

Ive def escaped 20 times in a row and thats low, just look on youtube for 4 man swf going over 100. For killer its more complicated because the hatch and keys but if you were to not count hatch escapes and played really sweaty and scummy it would be just as possible....with some killers. If you're really good at that killer
The game is obviously survivor sided but survivor has a really low skill cap and killers have varying skill caps all of which are higher. The best swf against the best huntress or spirit would probably end in a 4k if they dont bring a key. With the old moris no doubt you could 4k every game.
Also damn i must have been blazed i don't remember these replies. I could have sworn it was a completely different conversation lol. Nah something gotta be up i just dont know what

That's not at all what he's saying, its just what you want to believe he's saying because you can't take other people's different opinions/be wrong. Like the other person said, there are many factors in DBD and its not as simple as 'killer 4k'd and because of that you must suck'.

I think everyone is missing the point here,it doesn't matter if you are good or not the fact is this game has wayyyy to many issues.Bad hits through pallets is still an issue yet they supposedly patched this.I don't mind getting beat by a good killer,I just want the hits to be fair,I know killers are struggling still because I'm seeing rank five killers tunneling more frequently because of gens being popped quickly.Behaviour simply doesn't care about good gameplay as long as the money keeps rolling in.For anyone saying survivor is easy at this point is ridiculous I'm a rank two survivor and struggle to maintain pips at this point due to constant issues,and of play with a swf team,and good killers and their gameplay heavily out shift the the weights and balances of this game.Yes killer is much harder to play but if you're good enough a 4k is no issue at all

Survivor is LESS Stressful than killer. It's not easier.
If it were easier than more people would have achieved the Rank 1 status. Look up the stats for the killer and survivor achievement.
