BHVR: Remove Hook Struggle Phase.
I'd like to hear why the button-mashing keyboard destroying nightmare of the 2nd hook stage, AKA the struggle phase, is still in the game. What does any player gain from having to mash a bound button thousands of times to just... stay in the game?
If you have sub-par latency, or heck, even if you have a framerate drop, you'll lose the game even though you were diligently exercising your thumb or fingers. Why do we have to keep mashing a button to play the game?
Really. Give me a good reason. Why do we need to buttonmash in Struggle Phase? Is it because we're trying to stay true to our Mario Party roots?
There isn't a good reason. Remove the button mashing of Struggle on Hook phase period. It'll be easy to do, even for boneheads like the BHVR programmers.

Change the key binding for the struggle to something less noisy and prone to break.
I personally use the scroll wheel, myself. Quiet, easy to do, and I can do it with one hand.
Not a great solution, but it's there.

I've changed it to m1, to m2, to scroll wheel.
Oftentimes against my will, I lose anyways and die on hook.
What need is there for this mechanic? It adds nothing to the game. Remove it soon (tm).

"It's to simulate the struggle of life and death."

Change the keybinding to.... autohotkey so you aren't straining your fingers.
I still die by mistake sometimes because they changed the UI to always look like you're continuously pressing, so I don't know if the macro is on or not.

All it does is quicken the rate that all of us are going to get arthritis.

New killer is arthritis? We buttonmash until we have severe pain in the wrists, and then we can't play anymore?
BHVR, notify me beforehand. I need to quit early!

They need to be skill checks. Great pauses it, ok continues, fail you die.

it is pretty original but skill checks would be nicer.
for example, hitting a great skill check pauses it for 2 or 3 seconds, missing it either makes you die or reduces a large amount of your time and hitting a normal one does nothing

When I'm on struggle phase, I feel like I'm spamming as fast as possible and still end up dead, changing it to be more like pyramid heads cages would be better in my opinion.

Wish it was skill checks instead. Tapping x on a controller is really annoying even though I tried to configure the buttons changing x to L2 it made me kill myself on hook. So I reset everything back to default
