Cool.
Can we do an AMA (Ask Me Anything) here? ๐ฎ

What do you want to ask? ๐

- Your absolutely favorite & least favorite Perk. Whether it's one that you face, you use, or a fellow Survivor uses doesn't matter.
- Your absolutely favorite & least favorite Killer. Whether they're one that you face or play as doesn't matter.

- My favorite perk as Surv is Iron Will. I am mostly injured all the time and I like to be sneaky and don't want to hear their sounds
- My least favorite perk as Surv is Pop goes the Weasle
- My favorite perk as Killer is Blood Warden I love to trap all the survivors in, so they can't run out before the end game timer ends xD
- My least favorite Perk as Killer is Dead Hard
- My favorite Killer is the Nurse. I love playing her and I really like her story and aestetic. Plague is close
- My least favorite Killer is Hillbilly. I don't like playing him or playing against him.

"The grind isn't that bad."
Congrats, but dude; the progression in this game is absolutely busted. It shouldn't take nearly a year of non-stop play to fully access the game I spent $40 dollars on(not including DLC). This game puts F2P games to shame. Its disgusting.
I've probably put close to 1000 hours in and imo, I should easily have every perk on every Killer/Survivor by now, by virtue of them being a literal functional aspect of the game. Cosmetic grind, sure...do what you want, but perks, thats gonna be a big no from me dawg.
Side note, I know you said challenges and achievements were a part of this, but even 6739, heck 5739 hours is far too much to require for full functionality of gameplay mechanics.
11 -
Thx :) Yeah, the grind is enormous. I hope they will reduce it. Even with 2 Perks on 50 it took so long.
10 -
Its intentionally designed that way.
Id guess that the devs are afraid people will lose interest quickly if the game didnt have as much if a grind.
To some degree that might be true, if you take away the grind youre not really left with that much gameplay variation but it would still be fun being able to experiment with different perk combos without having to grind 1000s of hours to try them.
By the time ive unlocked all the teachables, which takes somewhere around 500+ hours if youre being as efficient as possible, i have almost zero motivation to go through like 100 or more bloodwebs per character to unlock all the perks for every character.
Youve totally got a point. Like why are we paying for characters and new teachables and still have to grind so many hours to use them?
Other games have way more gameplay variation and take i tiny fraction of the time to complete, yet this game takes the least amount of gameplay and stretches it across 10k hours. Its ludicrous.

Congrats I love the profile pic on Steam LOL

Only 7k hours. Took no time at all. ๐
3 -
Only 34 Million BP next patch
1 -
Some say it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill.
Do you ever regret that is 7/10ths of the way to mastering something else?
0 -
Wow... you actually did it. Incredible, just incredible.
2 -
Same here but i've 5600hrs

I almost *lost* interest because of the grind, lol.
I actually quit 2-3 years ago, right after I bought the game, because of the grind. I tried it again a couple of years later and had enough fun that I stuck with it, but almost decided to drop it again. If it weren't for the Bloodpoint events, BBQ and Ghastly Gateau's, I probably would have; and I can't imagine Im the only one.
If there's going to be any kind of grind, it should be a cosmetic grind. Gameplay elements can be earned(even though, I personally think that's stupid, in general), but they should be quickly earned. That way you can enjoy screwing around with different builds and Killers/Survivors(and actually have the capability of being competitive), while grinding for stuff like cosmetics or rank. That would potentially even boost sales, because players could use everyone, thus they'd be willing to buy cosmetics for everyone. Plus, it'd make the game more accessible for new players.
Idk, man. It seems so obvious, but yet, here we are.

I can't tell. Is it devotion level 19 or 39?
0 -
I also watch a lot of streamers/youtubers on this game and every time they showcase some build for either killer or survivor its always like "neato but im not buying a character and grinding it plus grinding two others just to hopefully have fun with this build" lol

Great!

You should change your name to dbd_obsession ;)

you can finally play the game, meanwhile i'm still getting all my p3 killers all perks and have barely started p3'ing all my survivors.
I'll probably never do all the survivors tbh at least not until i'm done with killers which isn't any time soon since a lot of them only have the first 3-4 pages of perks since i got good builds on them early.

It's the german way to write it. We write it 1.000 or 1 000 :D
0 -
Congrats mate!!! I'm on my way to it so you have my full respect!
As for the grind, it ain't gonna change any time soon - it keeps people interested. Plus when you achieve what's myers achieved here witb all the grind...it must feel good! Congrats!
1 -
That's badass welldone.
0 -
What about the killers?
0 -
Noodles or Rice?
0 -
Congrats!
I am done with all my Killers except Ghostface. But he still has 47 Puddings and 6 BPS so I first want to spend the majority before I prestige.
In the meanwhile I do my Survivors, but Survivor is optional for me. My main goal was to finish all my Killers.
1 -
It's Survs and Killers
0 -
...I thought the gif was just repeating for survivors only...
0 -
No after the Survs the killers are shown :D
0 -
1000 hours in myself and I got all the achievements and making mad progress on my prestiges and all perks, hope to join you soon through the grind!
1 -
Congrats i'm almost there myself.
Only need to max out my P3 Elodie.Claudette too but i got way too much stuff on her including all the old offerings so i can't prestige her :(
1 -
I have less than a thousand hours and have most perks unlocked for everyone. I don't know what you're doing different :o
0 -
Saw this on the facebook group! Well done :)
1 -
Cool and lucky. have fun with your game ๐
1 -
How much of your soul did you sell to bhvr to not go insane in those 7,700 hours
1 -
Both sides, including teachables and all Perks are tier 3? As in, you can go to any Killer or Survivor and you have every Perk at tier 3 available to them?
0 -
Nah, I don't think thats even possible. I have every perk tier 3 on every surv (86) and killer (78) and all characters are p3 50.
0 -
Awesome job dude! You should feel extremely proud of yourself!
2 -
Yikes
0 -
Yeah. Bloodpoints are easy af to farm. Like on a good run I can get like 500k a night on killer.
0 -
I am working on it, so far I have Trapper, Wraith, Nurse, Huntress, Myers, Doctor, Freddy, Pig, Clown, Spirit, Demo, Oni, and Pyramid head all at max prestige and level. I am currently working on Billy, then Hag, then Bubba, and so on. Very difficult though, and I am not sure if I want to do the same to all of my survivors.
0 -
I dont buy it. This person put 7739 hours into the game to get all Perks on everyone at prestige 3, along with Tomes and Achievements.
If you have everything on everyone at 1000 hours, that means getting everything on everyone at prestige 3 should take max 3000 hours. Thats also not taking into consideration that you can instantly prestige from level 50 without getting all of the Perks and the first time takes the longest since you have to unlock everything from scratch.
So you mean to tell me that this guy/girl spent 4739 or more hours just doing Tomes and Achievements, which they were probably doing as they were unlocking stuff anyways? Nah, that doesn't add up; and my personal experience says that doesn't add up either.

You only "win" DBD when you uninstall.
0 -
I mean you tell you I did not. Anything else you read is literally out my hands.
0 -
Either this guy is earning over 500k per hour or he doesn't understand what Prestige 3 means.
0 -
Your guess is as good as mine ๐คทโโ๏ธ
0 -
Damn! Congrats on one of the biggest achievements definitely! ๐
3 -
Finally! After about 6 months and 800 hours (everyone was full at the end of February), Dbd is played through again xD. Survs and killers all P3 50 Fullperk. The Resident Evil DLC with the 9 perks held up quite a bit. Now Pinhead can come haha.

What's the ending like? Is there a final boss fight?
But in all seriousness congrats.

You become the entity!
Thx :)
