When you get Tunnelers and campers
So I'm just wondering.
If they camp and tunnel after lagging your ass backwards and you get to the point where there are only 2 left with 2 gens left and ones being chased... is it ok to DC to give hatch?
I mean, killer gets what killer gives. Right?
Or no matter what the killer does, your just not allowed, you have to follow rules?

If youre cool with taking the DC penalty.. do it enough and get yourself a nice long ban.
OR just try to unhook yourself then let yourself die on struggle phase.. if killer is camping anyway its not like the last surv cant wait that extra 10 seconds

Disconnecting (rather than suicide on the hook) to give someone the hatch is cheating. Do not do this.

Yeah but if killer knows where hatch is and its sitting between 2 gates within short walking distance and you know where you got down is not far enough for the last survivor to use the time to get hatch... I mean if he's lagging your ass while "Playing the game"... should be acceptable terms.

If he found it the hatch before the last survivor did, the last chance it provides has expired. It's working as intended.
The killer didn't plan to have the gates and hatch so close to eachother, it's plain bad luck. You're allowed to have that sometimes. Take the L and move on to the next match where it's just as likely to have the hatch spawn right on top of the last survivor.
Again-- play the game.

You should do whatever you want and not ask for the validation of people on this forum, that's the last thing you should ask for around here tbh.
Just be mindful of accumulating DC penalties, eventually you'll get a permanent ban if I'm not mistaken. My general rule of thumb is I just stop playing before I reach that point but if a killer goes out of their way to bully me when I've legit done nothing wrong and it's just not a fun matchI'll DC and close it down after that and go play something else for a while. If I haven't gone out of my way to grief your game then why are you griefing me and my friends? I genuinely don't understand the thought process behind forcing everyone to bleed out or indulging in all of the most toxic behaviors against a completely casual swf that doesn't try hard or bully (Me and my friends literally just play together to have fun and help me get bloodpoints since I'm still pretty new).

This is never an issue if your playing well, as you will be last to die and that's based off of your skill in chase. Sad to lose against an inefficient play style.

Tunneling and camping killer doesn't care about your fun at all, so why would you care about theirs? DC is not allowed, and you'll get penalty for it. But if it doesn't bother you, do what you want.

Sure. I just meant that if you choose to play in a way that is known to be very unfun for the other side, you shouldn't be surprised if they decide not to play with you and DC. Of course it's not allowed, but it will happen.

you could argue that tactical dc's aren't really playing the game, because they're an unintended mechanic that isn't within the game itself, but the system around it
