Any reliable way to grab survivors?

There a multiple older challenges like "grab x people in a single trial", i just can't seem to find a reliable way to do this. I know it's bugged due to latency but everytime i try it, it just does a normal M1 hit. Do i have to stand behind them perfectly in a straight line? How close do i have to be? I tried it with Ghostface multiple times, i don't lunge, just tap M1. Everytime he swings.

    Ghostafce or spirit are the best options but you could just farm these ones

    I'd reccomend Pig or Mirror Myers for this challenge, more so Pig if you have her.

    Crouch around, then when you come up to a gen and you know someone is on it, uncrouch where they can't see you then instantly go for the grab. Why this works so well is that Pigs TR is hidden for 4 seconds once you uncrouch, allowing you to get easy grabs.

    If you don't have Pig or Myers, I'd reccomend silent bell Wraith with All Seeing blood. Your bell makes no noise and you can see survivors through walls with this, allowing for fairly easy grabs. You might prefer using the brown add on that hides your tr for 6 seconds once uncloaking instead of the purple all seeing add on, but only if you know which part of the gen they're on. Also don't uncloack right infront if them, play it sneakily.

    You just press m1 and it should do it. If it just hits you are either not close enough, held it too long, or it was just latency and there is nothing that can be done about it.

    I get a lot of grabs as Clown because people try and make slow vaults they shouldn't make in a blind panic after being hit by a bottle.

    Be sure to be as close as possible, you have to be literally breathing in their necks and TAP m1, if you hold it you won't grab and instead make a lunge hit.

    And you need stealth killers like pig myers and spirit are usually the best trio for gen grabs, also wraith. Just remember to always hide your red stain with the killers that require it to make a turn an surprise them!

    I think you should just try spirit. Sometimes people panic on pallets. Also survivors who think they can hide in a locker. Easy grab. I suppose you just have to be a low rank killer to get survivors like this, though.

    Nope. It screws killers so its on the backburner for a few years. You’re seen as a lesser person so you dont get the priority

    You should be close and straight behind survivor.

    I did this chalenge with doctor. He can shock survivors who want to vault the window or pallet. Then you can come closer and wait for vault. There is important thing, you can't grab healthy person from vault. It's always will be a hit. Also you can grab from window only if it's slow or medium vault. Fast vaults can't be interrupted. Pallet vaults can be interrupted even if it fast, because there is no medium pallet vault. For pallet grabs you can use Enduring. It helps sometimes when survivor messed up.

    Healthy person could only be grabbed from gen, from hook, from totem and from locker. And probably from chest, but I'm not sure.

    Beyond what everyone else has said, you can use Spirit to do this. If you're chasing someone and another person is on a gen, hit the person you're chasing. Then, when they sprint off, face them, but phase over to the person on the gen and try to grab them - they'll let go and the game will deny your grab. Works like a charm, every time... well maybe not, because all the little SWF whisperers will take my secrets and share them.

    Gr....grab.....grabs in dbd with dedicated servers??? It's been so long since I've heard that word in this game.
