Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Perk ideas based on Ace's character being a gambler

I like the idea of Ace being a gambler, so why not base some perks around it?

50/50 Perk #1

When searching a Chest, you have a 30/40/50 % chance of finding an item of Very Rare or higher Rarity, however, if luck isn't on your side, you'll get nothing at all.

50/50 Perk #2

After cleansing a Totem when Injured, you have a 30/40/50 % chance of being healed instantly, however, if luck isn't on your side, you'll suffer from the Deep Wound Status Effect and scream, revealing your location to The Killer.

50/50 Perk #3

Once you're unhooked or escape from a Hook, you have a 30/40/50 % chance of your grunts of pain being muted and you won't leave Trails of Blood, however, if luck isn't on your side, your grunts of pain will be considerably louder. (Basically ±100 %)

Both effects last until you're hooked again. (They still can be activated after getting unhooked the second time)

If you have any more ideas, let me know! I would love to read some!

This isn't really a 50/50 perk, but I still think it'd be interesting.

    Highroller:

Luck's always on your side, you'll just know it'll give you something good. When entering a trial, Highroller is replaced with a random tier 1/2/3 perk.

"Oh yeah! That right there is what I'm lookin' for!" - Ace Visconti

If a perk like that did exist, I'd probably run it, because I like luck related stuff like that. I can see myself running your perks as well, because as I said I like chance perks like that.

There is potential in the idea.

However, the perks you just gave us are already existing perks... the only thing that changes is you have 50/50 chances to buff the existing perk or to get a penalty about the effect.

In any way, Ace's perks are already created. They won't change it completely. The only time they changed a perk completely was about Bill's perk Left Behind, which was absolutely useless after the endgame collapse change.
