Is it just me, or have there been more Pigs than usual lately?
Firstly, I'm rank 8 survivor.
No offense if you main her, I'm a former Pig main myself and I love seeing this many piggies in DBD, but I've been seeing a shower of oinkers lately, both with and without crossplay on (PC). It's kinda weird because Pig is one of the weakest killers and I don't really understand why I'm seeing more of them instead of Freddys, Docs (who was formerly the one killer I'd see the most), or Spirits. Any new Pig mains in here, or...?

I've been having so many doctors for some reason. Pig is one of those killers where you don't see her for ages, then you see about 5 pigs in one day, then you don't see her again for a while.

She is my main I just love her so much I get she's not considered highly in tier lists but she's so much fun.
I really do love the interactions between survivors compared to other killers when I play others for daily.
If I'm booped I hardcore respect the memes take myself off and go practice my dashing seeing if I can find new tricks to do with it. Survivors normally follow and watch me also Which is super cute! Especially when they nod if I pull of a crazy dash lol
I love the relaxation of those moments where its not about sweat it's about fun and enjoyment for both sides.

What you describe is absolutely one of the reasons I use Miss Amanda as my main killer.
Sure, you can have sweaty, hard rounds with her, but she also gives you the opportunity to interact with the survivors and that's a lot of fun.
In the end, I played for a Daily GF and and let everyone boop the snoot. 🤣

Same tbh, It seems to me that a lot of people like her because of all the booping the snoot stuff lol. If you actually look at her power it's not very fun or interactive at all (I'm mainly referring to the reverse bear traps here, the dash attack she has is quite weak without add ons).

Well I love playing pig because you can slam dunk traps onto people. I feel like I'm the only one that even does it, which is a shame.
Not sure if I can post videos but I'd really like to educate people on how to play pig as toxic as possible cause man these survivors HATE being slam dunked, they DC mid flop at times. It's rare for a survivor to actually find any humor in what I'm doing.

I use everyone but decided Pig was my main/Fav about 2 months ago roughly. I perform well against high ranks, boop is fun when dc's happen or mismatches occur, built in slowdown yes with rng but just about everything in this game is rng (map, pallets, loops, walls, etc). She also has a few outfits instead of nothing like my freddy plus I don't feel anything when winning with fred but with pig I do. I think nurse is going to take the spot soon but need just a tiny bit more time to see but I'm pretty confident on it. i am starting to gain the ranks I lost back so thats a good sign.

BTW my older brother mains pig on my account and he's both a memer and consistently gets 4k's on Haddonfield.
It's genuinely terrifying watching him play and then say that I'm the better killer.

Hello! I'm a new pig main! The possibilities I could think of are that some people aren't taking the game as seriously after the mid chapter patch, the sales have made it so the Saw DLC is being bought more, old pig mains who quit back in the day came back after the recent patch, just to see how much it changed, and the most simple one, people are seeing how fun pig can be, leading to her gaining popularity as a main. That's all I could think of for now. My opinions on pig are that it's totally fun to play as and against her. The rng of the traps can lead to some funny moments where I just stare at someone whose head is gonna explode in 10 seconds try to use a box. They either die from the trap, I let them go for a bit, or I try and down them. The 50 50's at pallets are fun because the survivor has no idea where the pig is gonna go with the ambush so it's cool to hit them after one of those. It's fun playing against pig because booping shoots is fun, and trying to win in 50 50's is interesting just to see all the tricks pigs can pull like that. It's also always fun to meme around like making some high ranked survivors die at the exit gate to the activated trap at their head. Pig is pretty fun.

Her dash could use some love. . .which is why i stopped playing her.

I've started maining her about 2 weeks ago. I've won 43 matches in a row as her. I believe she is very underrated and a lot of people dont know how to use her.

I had 3 in a row last night in red. One was a streamer that outplayed me nice and proper so I didn’t get a chance to try and Boop her Snoot lol. I like Piglette but 3 different ones in a row is very uncommon.

I started using her because of a daily ritual. It usually takes a couple matches to finish them if you haven't used them much before(which I hadn't), so by the time you've got what you wanted you keep playing because it's something different and run with it.

Mostly because its easier to play killers like the pig with purple and green ranks versus red rank gen jockey survivors lol.
