I absolutely HATE it. I don't know what the DEVs were thinking. The HUD was fine before. The big icons are so bulky, makes the screen looks smaller. In all honesty I'm losing all hope for this game. I'm to the point I no longer wish to play and just want to delete the game entirely. Money and time wasted. The old survivor icon was better, more pleasing to the eye. I don't care to see who is playing what character. I can't even tell the stat bar for when legion hits us or when someone is being picked up. This is not a major upgrade. This is a major setback.


Let's also not forget the wait time for survivors is HORRIBLE!


I have updated with an image I saw going around on twitter. I think this would be absolutely amazing in game!

    I don't mind it, it was a step in the right direction but not the best. I wish they had the portraits horizontal so it takes up less of my valuable side of screen. Apart from that i like it because they made the hook timer bigger and the HUD now is less straining to the eyes.

    I like that they added survivor portraits, a lot of us do. What I personally don’t like is that they’re vertical instead of horizontal. And that they chose cartoonish colorful portraits that look out of place instead of going with something like this...

    You can scale it down in options and I find that the hud looks just fine, once you find comfortable size.

    Idk I personally think it's a step down. Having it horizontal would have been great as it was no issue before. If it was sketches it would have been better in my opinion. With no color unless it's blood. I don't think the hook time is bigger. Just think they could have done much better.

    I think it's half and half. Some like it some don't. If the portrait was like what you pictured, it would have been great and just have it horizontal. But it's not sadly and that's what many dislike. It was fine the way it was before. They should have only updated the icons and left it horizontal and leave it be

    If they could give us the option to change it how we want it, like classic vs updated; that would be freaking wonderful!
