We need more MEN of color
The last man of color we got was Adam Francis 3 years ago the only men of color we have are black and asians, why no Indian ,native American ,japanese ,Korean, native islander ...male survivors

I don't they should be designing characters with their ethnicity being their primary trait. IMO they should come up with interesting concepts for characters, not forcing in boring characters for diversity points.
Adam is a good character not because he is black, but because of his backstory. A selfless orphan who has a passion for teaching others and moved to a foreign land because he was infatuated with their culture.

Yeah, there's a lot of Caucasian dudes, albiet of varying cultural backgrounds. It'd be nice to have some more variety in the boys as well 🙂

I think the main reason for that is that the Devs wanted to catch up with female Survivors. There were quite a lot of female Survivors coming in 2020 (beginning in 2019 with Yui, followed by Zarina, Cheryl and Elodie at the end of the year), which took up spots for Survivors. Now it is equal in terms of male and female Survivors, so I can imagine that now there is a higher Chance of having a male Survivor of color sooner or later.
But yeah, probably the Devs wanted to have an equal distribution between male and female Survivors before going for more males. Would at least make sense IMO.

Detective Tapp meets about once every 50 games, Adam is a little more often and Jake is also a rather rare character. Introduce another similar character so that no one plays for him?
But of course I could be wrong, I am only describing the situation on the European server.

5 out of 12 male characters are licensed, for the female characters only 3 out of 12 are licensed so I think the Devs had less creative freedom with the male characters.

I mainly went for 2020, because there were more female Characters than male Characters, even tho, this is the same for 2019. But 2020 felt like they really wanted to catch up on female Survivors.

Look it's a character is a game which people only play because of there perks and ability to camouflage. Let's stop bringing race into it because in reality it doesn't matter it's a video game not a political movement.

I play Claudette because it's harder to see her, my friend plays Claudette for the same reason (except when he wears the most vibrant clothes taking the mick) I mean I wouldn't touch a survivor who had a rainbow coat on and glowing pants with a 50 foot stick. Honestly it's just a game and you can play survivors for whatever reason you want but obviously if your in it to win and your not good at looping killer then play a character that can camouflage well such as Claudette.

Because these days when people play games, watch TV and read comics they are always for some reason thinking about identity politics when we all know any form of media that gets woke goes broke. I mean Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Marvel & DC are all examples of things that put identity politics before making their movies, shows or comics actually good. I suppose it's fear of being cancelled but let's be honest people that are a part of cancel culture on twitter are extremely sad, lonely & bored individuals who have nothing better to do other than attack people thinking they are doing a justice when they aren't. I mean in reality cancel culture does nothing but make people sit there and laugh at the people cancelling others. Rick And Morty, Chris Pratt, Dominos, Attack on Titan are all examples of things that were cancelled for no reason and afterwards after the sane individuals had sat and laughed everything went back to normal.

Mostly it's only new players that do that (Well and players that have loads of money to burn and buy all customisable options for their characters) I mean when I started I played Ace Visconti and his perks are terrible but I played him because he looked good.
