Can you rework the same character 2 times?
It is not a request, but a question that torments me, but as the title says, is it possible? Because lately in the clown rework, it bothers me that the antidote is not launched instantly in a basic way and I have to recharge either with accessories or without, in fact its change I still believe that I do not improve in a horny way but light, instead of Freddy, at first a change in his power was needed, but now he should not even be a character with the difficulty set to hard, but to intermediate or easy. If you give him the nerf they said, I think dream traps should slow down a bit more than they already are.

They almost certainly can if the performance shows that a change is needed.
but that may take time as they need to collect statistics and player feedback over a period of time.

No, his rework was not needed. Old Freddy wasn't as bad as most people say he was. All he needed was a few QoL adjustments and he would have been perfect.

He had one glaring weakness being his chase since if you were fighting four decent loopers you were useless

i agree with @Phasmamain, i used to main the sod and it was painful if people knew how to loop because you had literally nothing to help you in a chase and all you could do was hope your slowdown bought you enough time to get through a lot of the pallets or catch someone right in the open. didn't help that self care was meta back then

In Clown's case it's 1000% possible. The Antidote rework, whatever you think of it, was nowhere near the level of Freddy's rework. BHVR could certainly justify another rework to Clown, if that's what they felt was warranted.
Freddy would probably recieve a much less ambitious rework, were he to be changed again- Which I personally think is only a matter of time. It would most likely just be adjustments to his Power instead of adding wholly new mechanics, though.

He was fun to play as but he was awful to play against. I'd take new Freddy any day.

Both of you are correct. Old Freddy didn't have a lot of chase potentional. However, QoL adjustments could make up for that weakness. More slowdown in the Dream World, perhaps? Or maybe making it harder to wake up? There were countless ways of improving him without reworking his kit. Don't get me wrong, I like the new Freddy and he will always be my main. But I would do anything to play his old version again. I am sure you understand.
I disagree with you. His uniqueness made him one of the best killers to play, whether you were playing as him or against him.

Oh I do, 100% understand. There's a reason I used to main him; I found his unique style of play incredibly entertaining and just pure fun, which is the same reason I currently main Pyramid Head lol. Even if he was weak as #########, I still found it genuinely fun to play as him and I wouldn't mind having him back, however at the same time he's gone. His memory will live on but old Freddy is gone,

I feel like pumping more slowdown in his kit wouldn’t fix his core issue
Clown’s rework didn’t fix his core issue and just gave him more chase potential which is not what he needed

I know it probably won't happen, but I really hope BVHR adds an option for us to play as him again. I need it.
P.S: I have to agree with you about Pyramid. He is really fun to play as. Except his adept, that was hell for me.

Nah, the rework was good.
I hated it when I went against a Freddy and I hated it when I was playing as Freddy.
