How does playing as super coordinated swf feels like?
I only played swf once with my rl friend and we were messing around since he is not into dbd. I kinda prefer playing this game solo tbh and I am not really interested in swf.
I was just curious how does it feel. I see that a lot of people consider it busted but it is the experience I never had so I want to see how people who do it feel about it.

Picture things going so well, at the end of the match you actually have to go back in to get chased and hooked so you don't depip.
Even just being boosted you can give the killer hooks and finish the objective with time to spare.

Damn. Did you find it fun?

I was in a well coordinated team long time ago, but i always end up playing solo in all multiplayer games, not just DbD.
I enjoy playing solo for many reasons, but the main one would be because of freedom, freedom to do whatever i want.
Edit: to answer your question, being in a sweaty squad is kinda "stressful". I find it annoying to hear people talking all the time.

Difficult, but fine.
I mean if you want to suck at the game forever just dodge them.
If they are doing things however like running object, taking you to haddonfield with a key, etc.... I mean you're almost certain to lose but like it isn't even your fault, they had to cheese to win so it doesn't bother me. They are going to TRY and make it seem otherwise, t-bag, etc to garner attention but just ignore it and continue on.

I was asking how does it feel from a survivors perspective. Will edit my title so it is more clear.

Thing is, is that you don't even need to be in a sweat squad to even win the game 80-90% of the time. Winning all the time is boring too. They need to add something, because there is just too much pallets and the most maps are too big for most killers to even get decent pressure most of the time. Most of the time even in a decent team that knows how to do gens it always ends up in a depip if the killer commits to someone too long.

Yeah I know. Solo is really random but piping is easy. When I played killer I didn't had trouble staying in red ranks either. You just have to play enough in both cases.
I like to immerse myself into dbd that is why I probably enjoy doing it solo. But I play a lot of other multiplayer games with my friends. Last one was Nioh 2. It was pretty fun.

Dbd is one of the few games I can think of that a friend group has an advantage over because of the 4v1 aspect. Compared to other games where it's more team based. It's such a massive advantage, and considering the state of the game. It's severely difficult to pressure a decent swf, due to 4 people having communication, and you are a single person doing it all on your own as killer. No matter how good you are with that killer. It just becomes stupid how easy it can be in a friend group. Solo is a much better time, because it allows fair play.

It makes me miss Evolve.

Its fun to play with your friends but it isn't a challenge at all compared to playing solo. You really test your skills by playing with randoms and i like that more if you ask me. You never know what the other survivors will do, and it makes the match far more interesting.

I know. Swf can be super stressfull to deal with and you are not allowed to make any mistake. You can almost feel it even if it is not evident from the lobby. You kinda now it is swf when it happens.

It's great, most fun way to play. Not nearly as hair pulling frustrating when you don't have someone self caring in a corner as you die on hook.

I'd much rather play in a super sweaty swf, than play with randoms that don't know what they're doing but somehow got in red ranks.

Depends on the setting. Contrary to popular belief, a good killer will hang with a 4 stack on tight comms.
It's not easy when the killer is actually on the level of the survivors. You have to make sure you're positioned correctly and know where everyone else is at all times. That means you can't just mindlessly run from tile to tile. Easiest way to throw a game is to run the killer onto your teammate who is on death hook.
It also involves coordinating saves and knowing how to get out of camp/tunnel situations. Most killers are awful at camping. A good killer can be impossible to unhook against unless you have two people with one blocking grab attempts.
You also have to coordinate the gens because a good killer is going to force a 4 gen with Ruin or Pop if you're not paying attention. Sometimes that means holding W into a corner just to give survivors time to blast a gen with a Prove.
Against an average killer in a pub, you don't even really need comms. You can just kind of exist and 4 out.

And then they lie about it for some reason and show up in the next lobby all queued up together again.
Makes for an interesting chat after the game.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Just what I was looking for.

Not at all, aside from a lack of danger I find teammates block immersion. I now stick exclusively to solo survivor. I find it's the only way to get a challenge and fun out of a match.

I play with two friends (both 2017/2018 players) a few times a year.
We aren't bringing competitive builds and even then most matches feel outright boring because I either get 1 single chase before the gates are powered or I get no chases at all as my friends know how to loop as well so I don't even want to imagine how boring it must be to play the game in a well coordinated 4 man team with meta builds.

It really depends. I usually run 2 or 3 man SWF with my girlfriend and another friend. It's a sense of comfort in knowing that someone has your back and you won't be left to hang as an expendable 4th, or occasionally having someone ask if there is a map you want to go to because they have a ton of offerings to get rid of, or something of the sort.. It does help more substantially in some cases than others. I played as a 4 man once with several red ranked Survivors I had actually just finished facing as a killer and it was ok but not quite as enjoyable as playing with real friends. I've never really been part of a sweat squad though per se.

It's pretty busted. You can do gens at lightning speed, you can make sure everyone is on death hook before anyone gets killed, you can body block and flashlight save, you can all 4 run Adrenaline and stay injured. It's insane. And don't tell me I'm exaggerating or am a killer main because this is all from experience.
