Do any devs play on console?
I only ask because I don't see how some of these maps are tested on console with the nonexisting graphic settings. Azarovs is so dark i lost a meg with an orange shirt next to a rock. Only found her because of sound. Crouching right next to me.
Used to be only the basement of the game was really bad. Now all the reworked maps are horrible visibility wise. Im scared for the coldwind updates. Corn plus full lunar eclipse is going to be unplayable.
Ormond is the best rework and on it scratchmarks are nearly invisible.
And yes i have played with my TV settings and no i cant make it any better.
So yeah just wondering. Xbox one by the way. In case it matters.

Well... devs play on PC around rank 20s, so they balance around pc and low skill players.

How do they stay at those ranks?

It may not literally be rank 20, but you can tell by their gameplay they haven't progressed past the beginner stage. And it could also be that some just don't play their own game so they're rank 20 by default.

Some maps on xbox even have dark spots that make it almost impossible to see a survivor.

PC has much better graphic options, both in game and through graphics cards and other stuff.

They need to hire some team of people who are willing to test things out on console
