Oppression's cooldown is way too long
I'll be lucky if I get to use the perk 4 times in a match. I know there's other useless perks, because of their cooldown, like Dragon's Grip, Dead Man's Switch, Surge, etc. But I want to focus on Oppression. I'm still of the mind that any perk that requires you to kick a gen is inherently weak, because you waste at least 5 seconds going over to the gen and kicking it, and if someone was working on it you have to choose to whether to chase them and potentially waste your perk or use your perk and they get a huge lead on you. Oppression at least makes up for that a little, because instead of going around kicking all the gens, you just kick one and it affects 3-4 gens. But even when combined with Sloppy/Thana it doesn't seem to do much. And then there's always the chance that all the survivors hit the skillchecks. Why give such a long cooldown to a perk that has a chance to do nothing? Why do I use it then, you may ask? Because I'm tired of using meta perks. Oppression fits with the theme of the Twins alright. But in it's current iteration, it has no use in this game.

Unless they increase the regression of affected gens they need to lower the cool down

Dead Man's Switch doesn't have a cooldown. It just won't reactivate if the effect is already active.

I always thought Oppression was a synergy perk. Like you pair them with other perks to get the most use out of them.

Ive had pretty solid success using it with pgtw, the key is to use it to double up on gen regression when you get a pop to use but also remember to use it if you dont have a pop ready but need to find where survivors are. Its also pretty good for setting up 3 gen situations because then it basically works like hex ruin that cant be cleansed.
I ran pgtw, oppression, and surveillance with my oinktress and it performs pretty well.
The cooldown at tier 3 isnt so bad. If you really want to stack regression then id do pgtw, oppression, and either a ruin/overcharge combo or huntress lullaby/overcharge. Either of those paired with dragons grip might not be bad either.
Its a painful perk in tier 1 and 2 but at tier 3 its okay, not great but okay.

CD is to long, it should be 40s honestly, the perk is mediocre at best so there is no reason it should have one of the longest cooldowns in the game.

I agree. Both this perk and repressed alliance deserve a cooldown reduction. They're playing way too safe with these numbers, you can barely use these perks on the trials.

60 is more fair imo or even 45 if that’s too long

Having overly-long cooldowns seems to a common problem with mediocre perks.

Maybe that wasn't the best example because its cooldown is also its duration, but it does have the ridiculous requirement of hooking the obsession.

I wouldn't say 30 seconds as it does effect 3 gens, i'd say 45 or 60 seconds would be a good cooldown time that way you wouldn't be able to spam it easily however i would learn towards 45 seconds.
