What are the oddest things you've been told by a killer and survivor main?
Survivor: PGTW, Corrupt, BBQ, and Nurse's Calling are OP. DS and keys are fine.
Killer: Freddy and Spirit have equal counterplay and take lots of skill.

Survivor: A swf got mad at me and called me toxic for using Billy's chainsaw.
Killer: A Doctor ranted to me about why the tractor tech is op and should be removed because he couldn't figure out how to do it.

Both sides:
- dbd takes mechanical skill
- trying to win is toxic
- Running certain perks/items/whatever is toxic
- playing without making absolute sure everyone is having a good time is selfish and toxic.

Survivor- "man why did camp so much?"
Me: "well hatch is right by the hook, exit gates is right behind me, and two of the remaining 3 survivors are within 3meters of the hook. Sorry I dont like to give free unhooks and exits."

For killer i haven't gotten much. Although I remember reading not long ago that someone wanted pyramid head to get a major buff. That was pretty hilarious

No Mither is actually a lot better than you think tho, especially if you have perks that remove scratchmarks.
Self-Care is worse than No Mither. You're not going to need Self-Care unless your team is losing, and in that scenario Self-Care can turn a loss into a win.

Did an Oni match not too long ago. Got a 3k, then closed hatch, but this Zarina got hold of a key and used it to escape. She then messaged me and told me to, quote, "Learn to play Oni".

Survivor:
"You're a bad teammate because you didn't come to save us!"
(Keep in mind that I had Kindred, Freddy was camping the basement, and he had ALL three of my teammates down there. Even if I had borrowed time, how was I supposed to save them? So I just did gens to complete my archive challenge and hope Freddy eventually left so I could go down for them, but he never did.)
Killer:
"Dirty Tunneler. (Followed by Racial Slurs, Death Wishes, and More)
(Keep in mind I never hooked the same person twice in a row. They all had DS and I never got hit by it once. The game was VERY rough at the start because I finished a short chase, and two gens popped, then a third gen popped by the time I downed another survivor (then the other survivor got unhooked. Luckily I was playing Freddy and had PGTW, and they practically 3 gend themselves.)
Sometimes get called a tunneler even when I go out of my way to not tunnel. Often to my own detriment. (I now just tell them "I face a lot of people. For you this was personal, for me this was (Insert day of the week)."
From a Killer:
Saying that Ruin/Undying needs to be nerfed, and saying the match was kind of unfair cause my team kept cleansing. (I think I cleansed once all game, and only at the end. I figured he slugged me for the 4K, but he really wanted the guy who kept cleansing and gave me the hatch)

Got a message saying, "you're so bad you have to camp and tunnel" followed by a lot of emojis.

I had a killer tell me one time that it was inherently toxic for me to bring a flashlight as a survivor.
I'm not even that good at the game and was just using flashlights as a little switch up from my usual medkits / toolboxes lol.
I guess in general, when a killer labels toolboxes and flashlights as toxic items that are somehow in the same vein as keys just really makes me go "Uh.. What?" Lol

As a killer: That they were going to report me for slugging them and their friend and that slugging is a bannable offence. I also killed a SWF as Michael and got called ‘noob Myers’ which made no sense as I killed them all, so aren’t they technically insulting each other?
Another time I was playing as Claudette and I did 3 gens by myself when a 3-man did nothing but all go down at the same time constantly. After the match ended they all messaged me calling me a ‘Blendette’ saying all I did was hide in bushes all game and didn’t help them. Funny, considering I did 3 gens, escaped a few chases and escaped through the exit gate, but yeah, I was in a bush all game. 🙊
I haven’t really experienced much hate from killers but once my friend was hardcore camped by a Huntress and she messaged just asking why as it was after one gen had been fixed and they didn’t camp anybody else. They said it was because she fixed a generator under their nose and that’s toxic. The best thing about it was she was doing an archive challenge which was to fix generators near the killer. The fragile egos in this community kill me. 😂

Survivor: typical trash killer with a trash build. Learn to not rely on crutches. (this was after I killed him)
This was before the ruin change, I was playing trapper and I was using Whispers, BBQ, Ruin and STBFL. Ruin got cleansed immediately and I had never used whispers before and forgot about it. So really all I had was BBQ and STBFL. Meanwhile he had pre-nerf Balanced Landing, Adrenaline, Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike, claiming that they weren't crutches.
Killer: Hag is way too strong and her teleport needs to have a cooldown on it. Like a 15 second cooldown before she can teleport again. She has no counterplay.

Killer:Nice genrush (after they chase 1 survivor all game like the rest of us are meant to sit and wait) or sometimes they say it when you get the slowest gens of your life

Survivor: A DC is a guaranteed escape for everyone else no matter what, it's a 100% guarantee they all get to get out and you don't get to pip or get BP
Killer: Stealthing is toxic

For survivors I don't think anything will ever beat the person that insisted I could say "byebye to your dbd account" and that they "knew the right people" to get me banned after... pretty sure it was because my low-level Leatherface had NOED 1 somewhere among his amazing perks like knockout 2 and unrelenting or something? Honestly not sure but it was so over the top that part of me likes to believe it was just some sort of prank. Still waiting for my "dbd account" to be wiped off the face of the earth anyway.
For killer it was someone that was completely convinced they went against a 4man swf when that was not the case. Every steam profile was public and no friend relations, but that didn't matter. "Obviously" we just partied up through Discord specifically to keep it a secret according to them, lol. Guess taking hits for someone on the way out of the gate is reserved for those capable of hivemind-level communication in their eyes.

I had a Survivor get salty for body blocking them in a corner, so I could get them to full infection before hitting them as Plague.

Apparently bubba is meta and I'm toxic for using his chainsaw according to a survivor. Apparently the Midwich map is his best map in the game.

I got told I was the best Hillbilly they had ever seen by someone who claimed to have played during DbD's beta. The problem with that overly kind compliment is that I [BAD WORD] suck at Hillbilly.
As Survivor a Killer messaged me and called me a coward for hiding while they were camping my teammate's slugged body until they bled out. The Killer in question had 5 stacks of an active Devour Hope.

I had just played a game on Haddonfield against 3 survivors using unb + DS and they all had BT with other meta perks. This was quite recently. I ended up camping different survivors on hooks as Pig because what else could I do? The whole game they of course were running the structures well ngl (keep in mind every house is an infinite), but there was literally nothing I could do. When they went to the car pallet loops, I tried my best to use the dash, but it is just too predictable and weak.
And then they of course cry about it even though I only managed one kill. But when I ask them what else I could do, they simply replied "Just play better".

As a Survivor: "I can't believe you guys went down that fast, you bunch of [insert many a bad thing here]" said the Rank 1 Oni to 1 green and 3 18-20 survs.
As Killer: "hahaha, ez gg baby Killer" well, yes, I was a lvl 20 Trapper with exactly 1 perk. What was your first clue?
Runner up: Killer accusing us of using a Haddonfield offering when they were the one who brought it.

None of the endgame chats I've had have come close to these ones, it's crazy. Maybe I have but oh boy I'm a forgetful person.
Edit (an hour and 55 minutes later): WOW okay this aged horribly. I just had a game against a rank 10 Pig (I'm rank 7). Other 3 survivors had no idea what they were doing. They were downed quickly and crouching around the map. Turns out those guys were console grey ranks, so that's great. We got slugged, I was downed last. I ran her for about a minute and a half. She slugged me, put a RBT on my head, and waited 5 minutes just for me to die and then eventually she says "GG bois get gud."
Greatest game of all time.

Survivor told me that I was wallhacking because I found them in a Locker, I was playing Legion, so technically yes, they even reported me.

First I'll describe my experience:
Survivor mains: played a game as haddonfield with hag and they found a key in a chest, so they decided to not save their teamates and do gens in order for them to escape through hatch (2 died 2 escaped). When I said "wow, the ability to find keys in chests is balanced" they replied with "since we did 3 gens we DESERVE to escape". Ok dude, whatever
Vs a killer main, my team was accused of "being m1 shits", he specifically mentioned that we needed to be chased regardless, and not do our primary objective.
Now, bonus example that I've seen in a stream:
"If you wanna play huntress fairly, then play her on console"

Long story look at the end to see what they said.
When I first switched from console to PC, I had a craptop. And j didn't have a mouse. And was playing nurse, (tbf I did play her a lot on console and knew how to play her) and I was feeding a hacker. Her had a massive speed boost and would unhook himself on first not second.
I beat his swf and he got hatch after two hooks. It was blatantly clear as they all harrassed me at endgame. He tea bagged and left. He starts saying I'm trash so I tell him I'm on a controller and still flogged him. His comeback was "I bet you smell like your grandmas socks" ???
For killer I versed a competent but yet still average nurse who ran all the gen regressions perks and then hit me the only person on PC "enjoy your flashlights, gg ez" like he was hot #########. Even though I never used my flashlight on him. And he got ran for at least five minutes every chase.

I played against a killer who hardtunneled me. So i asked him why. He said i am really toxic bc i finished a gen while he was approaching.
And i had a survivor who was fully healed and worked on a gen. He got downed and still used ds. Later i got him again and he was unhooked before me. So i downed and killed him. He spammed pms asked why i am tunneling him. Apparently its ok to use ds this way and then the killer is not allowed to use the fact that the ds got used.

I once got told that I should get over being bullied by a hacker because they suicided on hook, and that it's perfectly okay for the survivors to watch and laugh without progressing the game in any way.
I also got shamed for playing in a hardcore sweaty SWF after the killer 4k'd us. At 3 gens. And none of us were on the others friends lists. Or had many meta perks at all. Or even good builds. Or items. Or offerrings.
But the worst was when I was told to kill myself irl because I dragged the entire team down after this double SWF abandoned me and the other solo. After I was hooked next to the gate that I opened and went down protecting one of them. After popping the last 3 gens, getting multiple completely safe unhooks, and leading the killer on 2 long chases with only 3 thrown pallets total. And then getting a detailed description of precisely how I should end my life. I get that some people are toxic, I get that you don't take these thkgn seriously, but how the ######### can someone put more effort into being toxic than they can into the game itself?

Survivor: Said I wasn't allowed to play Freddy while they were all using crutch perks and keys.
Killer: Blamed me for him loosing the game cause he was in a 4 min chase with me and almost all the gens were done by the time he caught me.

I was in a game with 2 hackers lately, they could hook and unhook themselves anywhere, heal up via touch of a button and zoom through the map like they were teleporting. I felt bad for the killer and signalled him to hook me so he maybe doesn't de-pip. They bullied him for a while, even after endgame collapse was over the match didn't end somehow, they kept going for around 3 minutes. After they finally decided to leave, i wrote the obvious "please all report those stupid hackers". Killer just responded "LOL i laughed so hard when you hooked yourself, that was a fun match".

As Survivor: I was playing in a SWF with my brother and we bumped in to an "interesting killer. After the game he messaged me and said we were toxic for playing SWF and the reason why the game was "going under." Best part was the Killer facecamped us both but let the randoms live. But playing a video game with my brother was apparently the real jerk move...
As Killer: "You're racist" for tunneling an Elodie. She was playing very unsafe and acting cocky. She kept trying to DS me, I waited it out, they tried to run loops, I mindgamed said loops. And when I killed her she sent me a message and made it all about the character she was playing's race. I tried to explain it was because she made bad plays, but trying to talk to most people in this game is like asking a Vegan "Aye what should I get from KFC"? It's pointless
