Graphics comparison from the PTB
I don't think the texture are higher resolution but i think they removed and changed how the light works or they changed some filters, what do you guys think? This is on ULTRA btw.
Personally I want what they did there for the whole damn game, it looks amazing.

The killers look fabulous, idk what theyve done but keep it! The game looks so much better with it.

Right? All the killer look AMAZING, same with the survivors, they finally look 4k texture.

Performance on the new PTB is really poor, I can no longer play the game even at low settings.

Maybe but i think they also tweaked the AA or something, because it seems like you can see more details now.

Yeah it plays like crap but most PTB do tho, i'd like to see the full release build before we comment on FPS

I used to say the same thing but the poor performance on the graphically updated game map made it to the live build.

Depends on your HW this patch 4.5, I've got the biggest FPS boost i've ever got, even Midwich which i used to go 50-60 is now a solid 130FPS...

Looks good with the more dramatic lighting where you don't see everything that clearly at all times. Looks good with those shiny wet areas on demo.

Hmm what hardware are you using? I have a 9700k and a 2060 and I have been getting constant frame drops.

10700k with a 2080S at 1440P and ULTRA settings, you uncapped your fps?

Yeah I run it at 1080p medium so i can use my 165hz monitor. In the public build i get around 130 but not on the PTB.

Yeah the PTB is crap as far as FPS, I hope it gets back to current performance, did you see a huge boost on Midwich for 4.5 too? Because that map used to run like shiiit
