Give back Franklin's old Power!
Hello, just wanted to make a simple suggestion to Franklin's Demise.
At release, any killer could knock out any item out of your hand, no matter what attack they used. It might have been frustrating with a huntress snipe and such, but taking away the chance from Billy and Leatherface to use their chainsaw just to get your item out of your hands is- illogical.
So instead of simply reverting it, how about we add a meter radius to Franklin's Demise like this:
Your heavy blows at close range cause Survivors to drop their items, losing 10% base charges. Whenever you attack a survivor in an 8 meter range, they drop their item to the ground.
Would be a fair change, since a chainsaw hit will definitely cause you to lose more than just an item...
What do you guys think?

+1. Doesn't make sense that people drop their items from being hit with a mallet but not a chainsaw. Also I feel like Throwing Axes should make you drop your items. It rewards skillful play on the Huntresses part for landing it from a distance further than 8 meters

No.Got any actual feedback on why you think it's not a deserved change?

I think it's a strong enough perk as is and doesn't need any kind of buff. I think needing to choose between a one hit down and knocking an item out of a survivor's hand keeps the perk balanced.1

As a survivor main i think it's a great idea

It was already in a good spot. It didn’t need any nerfs. People just need to stop getting so attached to their items. Chainsaws, hatchets, and Trapper’s traps should all make the Survivor drop their item.theagitatedapricot said:I think it's a strong enough perk as is and doesn't need any kind of buff. This is a good idea. I saw no good reason for them to nerf it. Plus, when it was changed it no longer followed the lore behind it correctly.

As stated above, the nerf to give killers a "choice" wasn't even justified in the first place.
Items are strong enough not to deserve any kind of luxury.1
