Freddy vs Spirit. Which killer is better?

Nurse, spirit and freddy are top 3 best killers. I made a nurse vs spirit and majority said nurse now i want to compare both freddy and spirit.




Personally this is hard to say. Im gonna go ahead and say spirit is better because of her phase walking. freddy imo isnt far behind spirit.

    You can't loop against her, whereas you can with Freddy to some degree.

    Spirit is considerably stronger. Freddy isn't one of the absolute top killers, he's just super easy and simple for how strong he is. Blight, Hag, maybe even Oni and Huntress are all better than Freddy, they just require a lot more practice.

    Nah, Freddy is top five minimum, I'd argue being #3

    He has free slow down, pseudo-stealth, the best mobility in the game, and a anti-loop power stronger than Clown's.

    Oh, and he's the easiest killer in the game.

    Freddy is punishing to solo survivors but he isnt good in a high level competitive environment which is why you don't see him played in many community tournaments

    if you play 1st time freddy or 1st time spirit, freddy is better

    BUT if you want to learn and spend 10 games learning, then spirit (also you have to have decent headset, it helps a lot)

    This x10. He's high mid tier at best. It'd be a real shame if I held W for a while and then threw this really safe pallet while my teammates actually did gens separately. And then when Tinkerer goes off, they'll run early, hold W for a while, throw a really safe pallet, and the cycle will continue until 3 gens are done and Freddy hasn't actually downed anyone.

    Spirit is better and it's not even close. There is a chasm between Spirit and Freddy.

    Definitely Freddy.. you can avoid a spirit with perks or skills. You cannot avoid freddy illusory pallets.

    Its true, it doesn't matter if you wake up with a clock (btw wasting a lot of time by doing that, crossing the entire map and hoping he doesn't notice you) to be put to sleep again with a simple hit from his claws... This is the most non sense mechanic they have made.

    In my region in find him in like 6 out of 10 matches. He's easy to use and op. At least nurse and spirit require skills to be played, he doesn't.

    I'd love to find out how you can avoid a good Spirit with stridor, because not even the top tier killers (and streamers) have found a way yet.

    His slow down isnt free, you need add ons.

    He doesnt have better mobility than billy, spirit, wraith ( once the buffs come thru ) or blight or oni with his power. They can actually go anywhere while freddy can only go to gens and gives like 8 to 10 seconds of warning.

    Clowns anti loop is actually much stronger as he can place his gas where survivors are going and not just behind them when in chase.

    As for being easy, well yeah he's an M1 killer, all their mechanics are easily transferrrable

    Spirit is way better. Freddy's snares are strong but they're only useful in the dream world. Spirit can phase all the time.

    Spirit is far more powerful of a killer for sure.

    However, what happens is if you take a bad freddy and a bad spirit, the bad freddy will probably do better generally.
