Matchmaking Locked

In a recent game where we got Freddy as the killer we had someone D/C almost instantly followed by a second D/C when the first Survivor was hooked (60 seconds into the trial), this left it pretty much me Vs. Freddy, at only a minute in I didn’t see much point in continuing with the trial either so dropped out too, now I face a 15 minute “suspension” from play for doing so... I can see why this is in place but effectively it forces me to play a ######### game where everyone else has dropped out or face a penalty myself... surely there has to be a better way to manage these types of situations, especially when occurring within the first minute of a new game. What’s everyone’s thoughts and opinions on this, when a game is effectively over due to others leaving should the remaining players be penalised for not wanting to continue and complete the trial?

Yeah this is completely unfair and it sucks as some killers slug to avoid hatch too. So you wait 10 mins for a game, 2 survivors dc instantly, and then you’re expected to lay immobile on the ground for a further 2 minutes before you’re even allowed to search for a new game?

Its one of the reasons I stopped playing solo survivor. Which also stopped me from wanting to buy any cosmetics ever again so well done Behaviour

The only reason it's 15 minutes would be because you've disconnected several times recently, it should only be 5 otherwise. In situations where I want to leave the game for whatever reason, I just let go on hook and get around the penalty.

Yeah it’s the 3rd time I’ve had this happen in the last 24 hours or so, the first game I just played through although it wasn’t enjoyable, the second time I played for a while after the other disconnects but in the end just followed suit and d/c’d too. It seems like D/C is used far too often as a means to not play bad games but it really ruins the game for anyone else left over.

Just let yourself be hooked then force stage 2 by attempting to unhook yourself and then sont struggle.. bam you get some points and your out of the game with no dc penalty. Easy.
