Playing survivor after 9pm on the East Coast is a waste of time

10 minute queues then I'm teamed up with rank 20s. It's happened 3 games in a row. I mean come on lol these guys don't even touch gens!

It is fine for me atm. But few hours back when I started it was like you.

I dunno why but whenever I start playing it is with new people then after a few games I get people close to my rank.

I've pretty much given up on solo que because of those reasons. I play my one game to get the bonus shards and I'm off to killer where atleast if I lose its because of me and not my shifty team

EST nighttime is just miserable for solo survivor, agreed. Awful queues and because queues are awful matchmaking doesn’t exist by the time you find a game.

One doesn't simply play solo survivor at night expecting to get a normal match.

If I play survivor at night matchmaking basically doesn't exist. The only red rank besides me will usually be the killer so... Yeah.

I dunno. The thing is my lobbies get faster too besides better matchmaking the more I play.

This was my night, boot up the game sit in a 10 minute queue, get matched with yellow/brown rank survivors against a purple killer, they do nothing we all die. Next 10 minute queue, get a red rank pig who slugged with knock out worst match ever. 10 minute queue get a legion and 2 brown rank survivors, another ######### match. I'm getting a new game tomorrow.

ngl. I love late night Survivor on the East Coast US. I feel better about screwing up plays because I know that it's still more than anyone else has done all match.

Have some really good matches though. There's always 2 or 3 that stand out nicely in the mass of rainbow Ranks. Great survivors, solid teamwork, might be an SWF in there with me making up the 4th as a solo. However it works out, there's some really solid people playing and I enjoy the experience.

Get a lot of pretty relaxed Killers too. Only a couple matches a night where the sweat is so thick it seeps out of my monitor. Most of the rest of them the Killers are pretty decent. Allowing unhooks, no real tunneling, slugging only if it's necessary/advantageous. Fun times.

That being said, ######### you bunch of useless idiots who wouldn't save me because the Killer was chasing someone else on the other side of the map and you might have to do something other than hump a generator. I hate you all.

On the flip, 6amish feels like a 180. Instant lobbies, matches generally better, survivors generally smarter than toast. It's wild.

I don't even get matched with red ranks like I used too for the killer or survivor. Even though I know there are plenty of red rank survs in que, I still get green and lower most days.

Nothing like being on the hook and one of your teammates is ub half across the map from you while your other teammate is getting chased near your hook

The number of people who either don't pay attention to kindred or apparently don't realize that those yellow auras running around (or not) are *us* is astounding. If I have to leave a gen to run entirely across the map one more time to unhook someone next to whom some useless jughead has been crouching, I'm going to just start collaborating with the killer.

Late at night is when most people are free so a lot of killers switch off to play SWF as well as normal survivor players getting on at that time.

Conversely, because of the big influx of SWF a lot of killers don't play late because they don't want to deal with SWF things, and we all should know how frustrating SWF can be, so its not like I can really blame them.

I've done both of these before. I've played late SWF because that's when friends are free, and I avoided late killer because I just was not in the mood to deal with SWF that night in particular.

So yeah, late night survivor ques are pretty bad, I think I was in lobby for 10+ minuets last night each match. But unless killers get the tools to deal with a decent-good SWF or a big killer changes happens to bring people back to that role I don't think its going to improve.

Where are these low rank survivors at night hiding? I only get sweat squads at night, combined with the survivor queues it's not really a time worth playing at.

Yep. Complete waste of time. I have nearly 3k hrs and I'm getting matched with yellows or rank 20s. One teammate couldn't understand skill checks and the killer in that same game couldn't hit me. I'll play something else if I can't SWF and don't want to play killer. The solo survivor crossplay experience is miserable. 5 year old game btw

That's why I don't ever get on close to midnight anymore, I'm usually on the game around 12, 1, or 2 in the afternoon on weekdays.

Yeah I want to play but queue times are so whack that I just end up playing something else. I don't even mind the bad teammates, I just want to be able to get into games so that when I do get a bad game I can just move onto the next one without frustration. But waiting 10+ minutes for a bad game and then waiting another 10+ minutes to even hit the loading screen for the next one is ridiculous.

And killer games at that time become either hunting down stealthed people who actually have no idea how to loop and that aren't anywhere near gens or 4 man squads all with great perks who crank generators hard. Very little in between in my experience.

There really needs to be a shiny icon and blood point bonus for playing the lesser played side when queues are disproportionate to try and at least alleviate how bad they are imo.
