This is why we need to remove the dc penalty
As you can see on these 2 picks, there’s 3 pallets that are few steps apart and this is why I don’t bother chasing survivors on these maps. Alone that you are forced to break 3 out of 4 walls at the saloon and a couple more on the other side of the map is 2-3 free gens for survivors and than you get these 3 pallets which makes it a teabag fiesta for survivors, altho they play like rank 20’s.
The thing is that this happens and it’s not always “but” more and more maps are becoming like this and I’ve seen couple pallets lately spawn like this. It’s no wonder that less and less killers 4k and I barely even get hooked anymore as survivor and if I die it’s because 3 ppl can escape but we turn it into a ######### show at the end to save 1 survivor and killer 1 hooks 3 ppl. The only survivors that die on my team lately are the ones that use spine chill, dead hard or sprint burst and still get outplayed, the ones that even slightly know how to loop escape easily.

The maps are not perfect, but If you're going to DC because it's possible to chain pallets together I think we should definitely keep the DC penalty lol. This map actually has the weakest shack in the game because you can optionally break the wall to make it useless once god pallet is down.

To be fair, you're playing Oni on one of the smallest maps in the game. On top of that every loop on the Saloon is dogshit, so I really don't know why you're complaining.
9 -
I don't know, seems like a stretch connecting pallet spawn rates to getting rid of the disconnect penalty. Why not fix the pallet spawns?
6 -
Dead dawg saloon isn‘t even survivor sided. If there are multiple pallets that can be chained, chances are you can still outmindgame survivors at those loops since most dead dawg saloon pallets are mindgameable.
Or you just need to Force a few pallets down, Break them and you are good to go. Dead dawg saloon is one of the most balanced maps in the game, if not very slightly killer sided in my opinion, having a few pallets close by especially on that map is no reason to rage quit. Not to Mention the fact you are playing with Oni.

C'mon, this is the same as survivors crying about the deadzones. They both exist. We all know it is RNG. This is not an every game occurrence.
Both sides deal with BS RNG

Indeed this is by far the most killer sided map in the game, very easy to three gen

Hawkins wants a word with you.
2 -
Did you know you can break pallets as a killer? When they drop them, you can push a button and the pallet is smashed and gone for the rest of the game!
3 -
At least hawkins has two rooms with double pallets, and the two upstairs gens are very hard to defend, but yes it is also very killer sided

For a second, I thought this was going to be about an old bug that caused survivors to be unkillable but also unable to interact with anything.
0 -
Ya know dude, you could.. stick with me here.. crazy idea.. but.. DROP A CHASE. Force the pallet throw, then leave. Its not rocket science my dude. Break the pallet then go defend gens. Bam, no free gen popped, and when you chase someone near that broken pallet, they have less to work with.
Some killers just wanna ######### and moan about having to put any work at all in to their objective. Consistent rank 1 killer here so no its not just a survivor opinion. Youve gotta accept that leaving a chase is sometimes the most optimal play regardless of how you feel about letting a survivor think they got the better of you

As I thought, it’s the Angry Pug army of suck ups commenting and yes ofc I can break pallets and yes I was playing Oni and could’ve 4k but I prefer to 12 hook and not play pallet simulator with brainless survivors.
Yes, this map is very killer sided, that’s why I haven’t lost a game on this map out of my last 20 because the saloon is so weak for survivors, especially if killer hasn’t spawned in the saloon and survivors run up the stairs, loop the window and head towards right, very very weak saloon loop.

Yeah the maps are getting really bad. I don't know why some buildings need 3-4 breakable walls, cap it at 2 for crying out loud.
2 -
You sound like one of angry pugs suck ups, over there they have the exact same speech and attitude.
1 -
So what we have here is another case of *delicious killer tears*. Use your crying to feed the forum, M1Trapper.
2 -
Hate to tell you, but that is some pretty solid advise. Not every chase is worth seeing through, you have to pick and choose. Sometimes you take a hit on them and leave, other times you take and break a pallet, and sometimes you hunt them down.
Also you were playing Oni, just Demon Strike the pallets, pallets should be the least of your worries.
2 -
So what was the point of making the post. Also what does Angrypug have to do with people responding to you.
4 -
Honestly this whole post reeks of bait

They're trolling.

The shack its not really weak in that map. You can loop the killer a lot by jumping the adyacent house vault location and come back to the shack window. It is a pretty strong loop and there are other good jumps around in this map also.
But this is just my observation of that map balance. Back to the topic i think dc penalties should stay for obvious reasons.
1 -
literally none of these are safe pallets. I love these tiles because they are easy free hits as killer...
1 -
Instead of DC penalties, why not double BP’s for all that stay? There is a bonus for killers if a survivor DC’s, is there a survivor bonus if other survivors DC or the killer DC’s? More is incentive to stay... Maybe this doesn’t make sense, I don’t care, I just want double BP’s all the time.

Nice deflection of a valid point.
Accept that you need to make better plays and get better at the game, dude. Everyone in this thread is explaining how hard youre crying over a non-issue.
So its up to you, my dude. Take the advice and learn to play better, or keep crying over situations that you can easily handle but are choosing not to because it requires thought

Honestly, better than what we have right now, which is to punish both people who are intentionally having their time made less fun and so they DC to get away from it and those in the game in which said player DC'd. It's an actual sensible idea rather than kneejerk punishment with zero context, so the devs will never go through with it because they don't care for the game's health, only money.

I didn’t say I don’t win nor need advice on killer, I just said that having 3 pallets right next to each other and breakable walls are not good, especially for newer players. Tbh, survivors are so bad that I don’t even play killer that much anymore, it’s literally turning into a pallet simulator game.
If you’re on console you can gladly join me and dc right away and spectate me and see when a top survivor like me gets pallets like that if I’ll get caught or not. I win very easily games without any dead hard, spine chill, sprint burst and not to mention adding that and that’s why I said, more and more maps have way to many pallets and it’s not good for killers.
You can take your survivor main speeches about breaking up chases and crap to other peoples threads who aren’t devotion 12 like me and might buy into that ######### because literally any killer who knows how to play wouldn’t break off a chase to let the injured survivor heal back and go other side to finish gen.
Anyways thanks for your input

what is bs rng?
I have seen this in a lot if commemts

that map even with palets a few steps apart is easy to win for a killer , haddonfield and saw map are much more hard for me.
0 -
Bro are you actually crying about the Saloon map? Not a safe pallet on the whole map and you're like nah I should DC.
2 -
Sweet, sweet killer tears. I love this thread.

I love this map as killer, except for the saloon (till you break the wall) and sometimes the two-story houses there are no really strong loops, of course you have to break some pallets here and there but that's normal dbd gameplay. If there is RNG like this, force the drop and get rid of the pallet, it won't cost you the game. I win most of my games here.

Bull ######### is BS.
RnG is Random Number Generator, it is an algorithm that determines the number and positioning of certain things meant to be random
0 -
If its so easy, then why are you crying about pallets being close together? Like, if its honesty that easy for you, then its not an issue, right?
You seem like you just wanna ######### to #########. Maybe play a different game if thats how you feel my dude.

DC penalties should be harsher and afk needs to even harsher than dcing imo. Dcing doesn't wreck your team nearly as much as being afk. Things happen and yeah there are situations where accidents happen or something comes up but those are not nearly as common as people make them out to be.
