Killer: The Whisperer. Survivor: Layla James. Chapter: Whispers Of Traumatised Times
Charley Well was 8 years old, when abused by her father. She would sometimes be tucked away in bed, ready for school the next day. Then her father would come upstairs and drag her out by the leg. Banging her head on the floor and dragging her out of the room. Her mum Lucy, would shout and scream at her husband, sometimes hitting him and taking the attention away from Charley and onto herself. Charley sprinted upstairs and back into bed and starting messaging her friend Layla. Hoping her mother could sort it. Layla promised she would get help, but help never came. She could hear screaming, crying and the sound of glass breaking downstairs. Charley covered her ears to not hear the traumatising sounds. But there was one scream that couldn’t be blocked. It was only one scream. It was the scream of death. Charley went onto the landing at the top of the stairs to see what happened. Since it was silence. Blood splattered onto the walls and there was a huge puddle of blood on the kitchen floor. Her mum, laying in it. Her father was laughing. Then, he turned straight to the stairs where Charley was. He screamed at her to come back. He chased her into her room, she was now cornered. She screamed for help, trying to open her window. Then realising her father had already locked it. He grabbed her by the hair and pushed her onto the bed and started taking off his clothes. And hers. He was now on top of her. He started whispering in her ear whilst she was screaming in pain. After 15 mins, her father left the room and said ‘See ya tomorrow, for round 2’. She didn’t go to school the next day...
It was now round 2158 and Charley was now 14 years old. They had moved into a cottage in the middle of no where, 1 week after the first round. She never saw her friends and her teachers ever again. There was no way for people to hear her screaming since they were surrounded by open field and nothing else. It was the easiest place for her father to do the “business”. Stuck in the cottage all day, Charley felt like she was 50 years old. The days felt like forever. Her father came into the room and took off his clothes for the 2158th time and raped her. She was used to it now, even tho it was still traumatising. She didn’t scream, she only listened to whispers that her father spoke into her ear. She couldn’t quite hear the words that he spoke though. 30 minutes later, her father had finished. But she could still hear the whispers, nothing but the whispers. The whispers controlled her now. She walked out of her room, humming along to the whispers of her father, dragging her bed quilt behind her. She walked into the living room where her father was sat on the sofa watching TV. She quietly walked to the kitchen and grabbed some scissors, she put them in her pocket. (The whispers were telling her what to do at this point) She sprinted into the room with her father, jumped onto him with anger. Humming along to the whispers. Her father fought back. ‘2 rounds in one night’, was what he said. He hadn’t noticed the scissors in her pocket. He had already no clothes on. He took off her shirt. As he was taking off her trousers, she reached into her pocket for the scissors and stabbed him in the neck with them. She took the scissors back and her father leaned back in pain. Then, she stabbed into his balls and started cutting into them. He would never be able to do such traumatising things to anyone else again, like he did to her. Her father was on the floor, screaming and screaming. She started whispering into his ear and humming along to his cries. Whilst alive, she started cutting off his ears. Once cut, she placed the skin over her own ears. The whispering was louder. She finished off her father by cutting into his belly and cutting all of his organs. But before he died, she whispered into the holes in the side of his head. ‘I won this round’.
Power. Humming
When chasing a survivor, hold L2 whilst looking at them (similar to Freddy’s old power) to get a humming song stuck in their head. This song will start off slowly but will gradually get louder and faster when within 12 metres of a juke box.
A total of 5 Juke Boxes spawn in the trial. The Humming that is stuck in a survivors head will gradually get louder and quicker when within 12 metres of a Juke Box until they can no longer hear anything but the humming. Juke Boxes spawn 12 metres away from a generator.
There will be a bar showing how fast and loud the humming is for each survivor.
Power. Whispers.
Once the bar is full for a survivor, the Whisperer can whisper to them (hold L2 for 3 seconds when not looking at a survivor) and make them hum their song out loud. Doing so, will reveal their aura to the killer as the humming bar goes down. Max of 5 seconds. This empties the humming bar for the survivor most of the way. The survivor can still hear a faint humming sound tho. And then repeat the cycle again.
Survivors can also cut off their ears at the table next to the Juke Boxes. Doing this, will cause the survivor to bleed even when healthy and to make moaning noises when healthy. They will also suffer from the oblivious status effect.
The Whisperer can go to these tables and collect the ears and place them over her own ears (Like an extra layer of skin). Placing one survivors pair of ears on her own increases her hearing by 25% up to 100% if every survivor cuts off their ears. (This is basically a built in Stridor)
Perks.
Music To My Ears
Survivors who scream by any means, have their aura revealed for 3 seconds.
Music To My Ears has a cooldown of 120/100/80 seconds.
Humming Bird
When a survivor disturbs a crow, other crows within 16/24/32 metres will also will also be disturbed. And will make louder cawing noises that can be heard throughout the map.
Infectious Deaf
When a generator gets complete, all survivors that completed the generator will suffer from the oblivious status effect for 20/30/40 seconds.
Let me know what u think! 👍🏻 Any feedback is much appreciated.
New Survivor. Layla James
Layla James went to the same primary school as Charley Well. It was a Sunday afternoon, she was getting ready for bed when she received a message from Charley. She opened the message and was horrified by what Charley had said to her. Her parents were arguing and she was really scared. Charley wanted Layla to get help. So that’s what Layla did. She rang 999 and told them what had happened. They asked for the address and Layla gave them her own address. The police soon arrived at Layla’s house to find that it was just her dad at home. The dad was questioned by the police as to where Layla’s mum was. He said she’d gone out with some mates for a catch-up. The police didn’t believe him and took him to the station. Layla’s dad called her mum from the prison and told her to go home as Layla was home alone. She had been having a few drinks but didn’t want to leave Layla alone. So she drove home. She came to a busy road, she thought the light had turned green so she went. Not knowing the light had turned green for the other cars. She got caught up in the middle of a crash and was crushed to death by other cars. When the police found her, they could tell she had been drinking. Layla, crying at home. Kept messaging Charley to see if she was alright. No responds whatsoever. Her mum should’ve been home by now. That’s what her dad said to her. 5 mins, she would be. Layla, couldn’t help but leave her home. It was 20 mins later and her mum still wasn’t back. She decided to go to Charleys house to check up on her. She was standing outside the house. She went up to the door and knocked. No answer. She looked through the window and could see Charleys dad dragging a body through the house. He looked at her. She screamed in terror and ran away from the house. Layla ran home to find police inside. Charley’s dad not far behind, saw police outside her house. He approached them. The police told Layla the awful news. Charleys dad told the police that Layla and his child were friends and that Layla can stay with him. Layla, traumatised didn’t say a word. Layla went back with Charleys dad back to their house. Charley’s dad said, ‘now I can play with both of you’. When he went upstairs to tell Charley that Layla was here. Layla had enough time to gather her thoughts. She went through the unlocked back door, Charleys dad must have not had enough time to lock it. By the time Charleys dad came back downstairs, Layla had already been running for a few mins. She was not seen at school the next day either.

Humming bird sounds a little bit useless, considering spies from the shadows is better in basically every way. Infectious deaf sounds like it might be a little too strong. The overall power sounds pretty good, and it would most likely be a very strong but balanced power. I like your idea! Not many killers focus on sound, which makes this killer very interesting.

Thanks for the feedback. I have changed Humming Bird, maybe it’s a better perk now. Spies from the shadows only works when the killer is within 24 metres I think. So this perk is for when the killer is out of 24 metres, the birds should be easier to see when they are all flying up. 👍🏻. Infectious deaf, I have changed this perk to only work on the survivors that completed the generator.
