Why is rift cheaper than a single cosmetic set?
Explain this to me. The rift contains from at least 4 full set of outifts, a tons of useless charms for a 1000 auric cells, while the SINGLE one set of outfit for a single character costs usually 1080 cells. What's the logic behind this BHVR? If this is all for supporting the devs, then it's a poor excuse. The company milks a milions of dollars in a year. Maybe something about the price of cosmetics should finally be changed?

There is price to it too. It's called "Time" and it is more expensive than any other currency.

Most people are unable to play the several dozen hours it takes to max out the Rift.

Funny, because with my job and college I can still find time to max out the rift to 70 level, before the rift is closed. Basically one tier per day and you're fine.

The price is a total of 1,000 so minus 80. almost the same price. Half the cosmetics there are recolor and it takes so long to level up.
If you can get 3 new skins right away after purchasing the rift then the price is worth it.

What about people with full time jobs they have to go to everyday, and families they have to take care of, and other games/hobbies they want to play?
It's not realistic to expect most people to complete the Rift through time played alone, and that's the point. It's to sucker you into buying the last few tiers that you wouldn't otherwise get.

I'm not talking about recolors. I'm talking about the new set of cosmetics that rift contains. In this rift there are skins for Yui, Nurse, Oni, Felix and Claudette.
It's not hard to play straightly this game for at least 2 hours per day. Everyone can find a time for it if they want to.

Like already mentioned, the Rift is relatively cheap because you're not getting what you are paying for right away. There's a significant time investment as well.
That module is pretty standard in most live service games.

No, I didn't. Besides you don't have to buy rift right away at day 1. If you know that you will not be playing this game constantly, then sorry. But game is for playing and having fun period. Even with having at least two outfits, the rift is way more worth it than the cosmetic set. You don't have to be at tier 70 to feel satisfyied from the rift pass.

Yes, you did. I am not debating whether the Rift is worth what it costs (which I agree that it is), but on WHY it is cheap as it is.
Because of the time investment needed to get what you actually paid for, as already explained. Compared to getting outfits as soon as you buy them in a direct purchase.

Playing at least 2 hours per day + making challenges and you can finish the rift without any problem. If you want to, you will find a time.

i agree that the prices are too high, that’s why I don’t buy any of them. But there are enough people that are willing to pay that money. Why should BHVR listen to me, when I won’t give them any money on cosmetics whatsoever when they get enough money with their current strategy?
Also your comparison to the rift prize just doesn’t make any sense at all.

It doesn’t because you don’t just pay 1000 auric cells and get everything but you gotta invest much time. And while that is not much for you it is very much for others.
same with 1000 auric cells, it may be much for you when it’s only for one outfit but for others that’s nothing and they gladly pay that price. And there are many people that buy those from what I can see.
the comparison here isn’t needed if your point was just that cosmetics in the store are too expensive.
