Playing killer = Having a bad felling

I ask this because I hope I'm not the only one. For starters, I'm not a rank 1 God who wins every round. I'm actually kind of bad but playing killer is fun. Well it is...sometimes but most of the time I feel kinda sick?

It's evening and I want to play, but I know that the queu for survivors is to long so I decid to play killer. I wait a bit and the "fun begins" when the other players load in. I see 4 people who are wearing prestige 3 outfits with 3 medkits and a key. I instantly feel kind of worried and sick and only can think about what a bully massaca this could be. This happens so often and I try to get this feeling away but I can't and I don't know why.

Is someone having the same problem or experiencing something similar?

It's a natural feeling as you subconsciously know survivors have to mess up (which they luckily do consistently) and lurk around instead of looping and doing gens aggressively.

However since most survivors are below average you typically win as killer once you've got some experience.

As a result you win pretty often but still feel like "something's not right" when 4 survivors with similar skins and items join the lobby.

It's because most killers in the game are pretty useless against strong survivors so you pretty much have to hope they mess up or got a weak link otherwise you might as well open the gate yourself regardless of your skill - unless you play a strong killer flawlessly with a strong build, of course.

By strong survivors I'm referring to the level of Sawpalin, Exlelite, their teams, SalGul (korean streamer), ZubatLEL etc.

If all survivors played like them even the best killers would probably have a 35% kill rate give or take.

It's because it's an asymmetrical game, 1v4. It's like public speaking. You're putting your skills (or lack thereof, in my case) on display in front of multiple people. There's no one to help you, no one to back you up. It can feel like a lot of pressure, even stressful.

When I play for real, I start to feel anxious. That's why I so often meme around.

Don't stress about it. Just play the game for fun. Don't worry about the end result. If you can do that you'll end up playing much better. You'll always do worse if your a bundle of nerves.

Even though people bash me for it:

if you feel sick when playing a game, don’t play it. Damaging your mental health is not worth a game you don’t have fun with.

voice your feedback, try to translate your feelings and experiences into words, that’s important of course. But don’t force yourself to continue if it is bad for you.

if you are able to, try to only play for fun, set your own goal, like getting only a daily/challenge done or just mess around learning the killers power. Try to have fun chasing or ignoring those that try to ‚bully‘ you (often times they will screw up and turn out to be the weak link once it doesn’t go their way).

In a case like that, don't feel afraid as killer to just dodge the lobby, you shouldn't have to torture yourself by playing that lobby if it makes you feel sick and gives you that "this is gonna be awful" gut feeling. They'll have a new killer in a very short time and you'll have a new lobby withing a couple minutes max.

When I want to play Hag or Wraith I'm not gonna play a lobby loaded with flashlights, or Nurse against a bunch of Blendettes.
