Hag is most definitely the third best killer in the game

Nurse and Spirit are obviously good for how strong their powers are, but can we just talk about how strong Hag is. A killer that uses traps to get around the map, and can be just about anywhere really whenever traps are triggered. Hag requires a lot of strategizing of how you're gonna approach to play her, and you really need to know where you want to place your Traps. If you step into Hag's webs of traps good luck trying to come out unscathed, especially if you're going against an incredible Hag main. When it comes to teloporting across the map, Hag outshines Freddy by miles since his teloport has a cooldown. In my honest opinion I think Hag has the best map mobility in the game with her traps, if she's in the radius of being able to teloport she can get their instantly within a blink of an eye. Mother Daughter Ring Spirit and double movement speed Blight, have nothing on her. I know people like Otz have said Hag is S tier by learning a lot from Michi and incorporating Michi's tactics into his own gameplay, while Tru3ta1ent thinks she's overrated because she struggles massively against good survivors and think people listen to popular belief. But honestly no matter how big the map or what perks you use on Hag, she basically dominates anyone as long as you're good at her and understand how to use her traps efficiently. Killers like Blight, Oni, and Freddy are definitely strong killers, but personally I just don't think they hold a candle to Hag. I don't care if the devs add new killers that are somehow A tier, it's gonna take a lot to change my mind to think any other killer not named Nurse or Spirit are better than Hag.

I mean yeah... If there's no flashlights to destroy your web she's definitely a strong and very strategic killer.

She may not be a mechanically demanding killer but she sure requires patience and strategy. You start chasing someone without a solid trap-web? You're done for.

You keep calm and re-trap all common spots (and obviously hooks) against survivors who don't destroy your webs while you're carrying someone and have no flashlights? They're in for a rough / frustrating time.

Honestly, I think her and Blight are tied for third. She locks down one important area, Blight goes where he needs and down who he needs.

Yeah Hag is very and strong and unique. She's the only killer who doesn't need mobility or chase. Like most other good killers. But big maps can be annoying.

Hag is extremely strong and about the same in difficulty to play. I'd say she's better than both blight and freddy, imo 3rd best killer in DBD when truly mastered but people will often say how both blight, freddy are stronger (and argue even that blight is harder to play) which I don't agree with.

My view always was that hag was as hard to master as is nurse, that's why people rank hag low, they don't know how to properly play her and her power isn't as obviously strong as nurse.

She is definitely very strong and survivors aren’t experienced against her due to her lack of play

Definitely overrated. Hag gets hard countered by flashlights and maps making her less threatening. I'm never worried when I play against a hag it's usually my solo teammates just playing dumb making it hard for us to win

In the sense that the worse a map is for Hag, the better it is for Blight

Blight has some terrible maps like lerys while hag does bad on big maps

Hag is very unique in many regards. As mentioned already she does not like to chase, she lives in the future and she is a very manipulative and investing killer. But keep in mind that Hag is always reactive, not active. You prepare an outcome for specific situations and then you lightly steer survivors into said situations to make your plan work. Hag's effectivity depends on how survivors play. She is also unique in the regard that gen rushing backfires heavily but only 1-2 sruvivors that harass her are enough to make her struggle.

I am reading often that people do not like Hag because of the no chase style and having ,, no interaction" with her. The thing is she has both of these but the difference is here that the survivor has to force it. You can interact in so many ways with Hag but people refuse to do so. You can also force her to chase you but again you have to take the initiative, not her. In these ways she is very unique.

Tbh I think she is one of the best designed killers because: she does not need any perks or addons (good basekit where I can run fun builds all the time), she can adapt to many situations, she does not struggle with the speed of the game but at the same time she has plenty and good counterplays and force survivors to act differently which is very refreshing.

But I really wonder what the point of your thread was? It is kinda coming out of nowhere? How did you get these thoughts all of sudden?

Probably due to Otz's video with you that released recently (the midwitch game). That would be my guess.

I agree, I think hag isnt stronger than spirit and nurse. She is more methodical, but if you're good with her, nothing can stop you. Not a bullshit perk combo, no lack of add-ons and perks, no dbd broken mechanics. As far as I'm concerned she's s tier

I just think Hag is one of the best killers in the game no matter what difficulty you're put against, in some situations I'd say she can outshine Spirit. The thread didn't really come out of nowhere, although I was thinking of a topic that I wanted to talk about. How I got these thoughts all of a sudden is just from when I decided to play Hag again back in November of last year, didn't play Hag for about two months and once I started playing her again I forgot how much loads of fun she was and how she can drastically change the game. I was curious as to why Otz considered her the third best killer in the game, and once I started playing her again I saw why.

That's what I like about her she's a polar opposite of the normal winning formula.
