Why do you not play Jeff or Adam?

I love him to death but he sounds like he just ran a 25 mile marathon after jogging a bit

I don't like their perks
I actually do play Jeff somewhat. I used him for a few rounds yesterday, and I play him more than any other male Survivor besides Dwight. I'm not a fan of him all the same, though.
Both him and Adam have really boring lore, forgettable cosmetics, and mediocre perks. This poll could use an all-of-the-above option, tbh.

My main 3 survivors are Kate for female and Steve and Ash for male. I just really like those characters for some reason.

That's pretty fair. Jeff and Adam lore-wise do indeed not have exciting lore material (except maybe Adam's train accident), but not every survivor is going to be a badass, wealthy alpha. They can just be regular people.
Personally, Jeff's perks >>>>> Adam's perks; Aftercare is underrated af and Breakdown is pretty strong for hook aggro. Distortion just needs a buff and it's easily top tier.

I'm not interested in their lore
Jeff is the epitome of "dude." His most notable traits are that he is a loner, an artist, he drinks beer, and he has a rescue dog. Oh, and he's a metalhead.
If you're that kind of dude, that may be cool to you, but otherwise... if Jeff was a beer himself, he'd be a Miller Lite.

I like how Adam and Jeff look. For me, I feel playing Jeff puts me at an disadvantage due to how loud he is/can be; and I also don't play much of either really because I don't have the perks I like to use, on them yet. But other than that, I think both are awesome and definitely deserve more love

None of the above, I just don't have the bloodpoints for perks or the shards for cosmetics and there's other characters I would rather play who I don't need bloodpoints or shards for.

Their cosmetic selection is lackluster
I just played as Adam yesterday, but he is one of the survivors I mostly forget. I don't really like his cosmetics. Jeff is a bit better, but still not by that much. Of course, since we have some many survivors now, some are going to be more popular and others, like Jeff and Adam, will be mostly forgotten.

I actually play Jeff / Adam once in awhile, so I won't respond to the poll itself but I will comment on the fact that Cosmetics is #1 leading in the poll right now
This is something I've been saying this for a long time now. It's literally a paradox, people in the community (selfish people who play characters with plenty of cosmetics no doubt) love to cry out "Oh, obviously the devs are giving cosmetics to popular characters, then other characters get their cosmetics later".
When apparently, nobody has ever bothered to think of the fact that cosmetics CONTRIBUTE to popularity. So the more popular a character is, the more cosmetics they get, the more cosmetics they get, the more popular the character becomes. Equally, the less popular a character is, the fewer cosmetics they get, the less cosmetics they have, the less popular the character is.
It's literally a self-perpetuating cycle and I don't know why this is so difficult to understand. May as well not give any cosmetics to lesser played characters at all, in fact, fk it let's just delete those characters let's all play Dwight, Jeff, Meg, Claudette, Nea, and David. Who needs the other characters anyway right?
It's just dumb all around.

i main adam so doesnt apply to me
the main reason why is bc i like his look with the coat and i think he has the most fun perks in the game.

I don't like their base appearance
this doesn't directly relate to the poll, but when i have all the perks and items on one survivor, i don't really have a reason to play anyone else.
also, when someone is choosing which surv to main, i don't think they look very interesting compared to others (example- yui)

I'm gonna go ahead and state that Jeff is one of my mains! I really like him, his style, his beard, his lore, his perks (Aftercare is one of my most used perks btw) etc.. He is really underrated IMO (Even if we are talking about the devs, I feel like he is neglected... HE NEEDS A RIFT SKIN FFS!!) It is true that he is loud, but hey, maybe use Iron will? :D It is a really great perk generally and it can fit in any builds. Feng is loud as well, but 80% of the community play as her...
Adam is cool, I like some cosmetics of his, his perks are also great. I don't have an issue with him, I'm just not playing him because I love others more.

I like playing as both!
Adam has not many but very cool cosmetics, also I like his Pebble perk (though i mostly use it on other survs)
Jeff has also some nice cosmetics, wish his one head cosmetic wasn’t auric cell only though (not the death metal one, the other), Distortion I use sometimes if BBQ is annoying me too much..

They release cosmetics for only the most played survivors. Basically explains itself.

I play them just as much as everyone else. The flow basically goes like this:
- Pick people I have dailies for.
- Pick people I have rift challenges for.
- Pick people I still need to get achievements for.
- Pick non-P3 people with the weakest remaining offerings so I can clear out the rest of their good stuff before prestiging them.

their perks suck (except for distortion and deliverance, possibly even aftercare), jeff sounds like hes injured cuz of his breathing, they both cost 9k shards which is why i main david/laurie, their cosmetics arent that cool, theres a lot of bad stereotypes about them,

I do play Jeff. Don't ever disrespect him again.
As for Adam, I don't feel like spending resources on him just to change his white, default coat to something a bit more stealth-friendly, as I already have other "main" survivors I usually play as. Maybe I'll use him in the future if I feel like getting him to, at least, prestige 2.

Jeff is my main just because i like to play hard... Also, when a Jeff is playing against you as killer you have 0 idea about the perks they use since most of Jeffs perks are useless... (dead hard is almost always on everyone so you know 1 of them lol)
