Survivors not healing you?

So last night I was strictly playing as Adam. I use Autodidact so I like to heal survivors as much as I can to get 5 stacks, as we all know 5 stacks of Autodidact is extremely beneficial to the team. So I’d heal people and then they’d just run off and leave me injured. I use Iron Will, but do they not see my injured indicator? See my blood spilling on the floor? See me limping towards their hook? I just don’t understand how they don’t realise I also need healing lol.

I normally wouldn’t think much of it, but it was happening all night last night. I’d heal a survivor and then crouch waiting to be healed back but they’d run to the other side of the map.

I could understand more if I was with low rank survivors but these were purple / red. Surely at that rank you know when somebody is injured, even with Iron Will.

I feel you. But here's the thing... Most of the high ranks are capable of looping, escaping and etc... so because of that reason they do not want to spent their time for healing. They wanted to rush gens so that they can escape. Most of the survivors that I play againts are usually stay injured, rush the gens and then by the use of Adrenaline perk get the full health and escape. I think that is why not many survivor wanted to heal others at high ranks and they just do gens. Other than that in solo survivors they re mostly selfish sadly :/ . I remember a match where I was rank 8-9 survivor and other survivors were like rank 1-4. I got hanged and it was my first hook but none of them saved me cause they wanted to escape fast and safe, so they leave me at the game even though I took protection hits for them, save them from hooks and distract the killer while they doin gens.

Oh I understand staying injured to save time and I often play like that. That’s why I always use Iron Will. But in some matches I feel like I have to be healed because nobody is going for the unhook in the basement etc and I would rather be able to take a hit after getting the unhook than going straight down. I just don’t get why they want me to heal them but don’t return the favour? They sit at the hook waiting for me to heal them and then run off.

I’m good at being stealthy and looping so I don’t mind being injured, but like I said, there are games where it’s beneficial to be healed. I had an Oni match and I kept healing people but nobody would heal me. A huge counter to Oni is not bleeding everywhere. 😂

My answer is welcome to the DBD. Sadly solo queques are not that organized and many survivors are really random and self centered. I mostly play solo survivor when I can and I can say that it is quite self centered. It will mostly cost the match unless they re really good. I understand your pain.

I disagree. It's the noobs and mid level survivors who tends to heal u.

At red ranks, focus is on gens, not healing.

There's many times I try to heL them, and they Start yelling at me, to do gens instead. They don't always heal u bCk.

Ur not a baby, no one gonna baby u. U need to take care of urself.

If u suck, they leave u behind as ur not worth it.

I should say highevel and not red ranks. Cuz there are noobs in red ranks.

Welcome to hard-core dead by daylight. Where every match the game is sweaty. Pro killers, and gen rushing survivors. These survivors are a-holes. And killers don't bother giving hatch as they been bullied so many times.

Solo survivor is definitely an interesting experience but I feel like it made me a strong player because I’ve had to become sufficient in every area as I can’t rely on the teammates I get. 😂

I'm right there with you. It's so often that I pick people off the hook and heal them. I always have iron will with me and then get left hurt. And even with kindred, you get stuck on the hook and no one bothers to save you.

I just don’t like selfish people and I think that’s what it boils down to. I have had matches where I got every hook save and I mean every hook save and then the entire team leave me to die on my first hook as they’d rather open a gate and sit inside to teabag.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’m the only survivor to die but I’m at the top of the board for points lol.

Yes, I know that. I often feel like I'm the random one in a three-man SWF that is grateful for keeping the killer busy, hook saves and heals, but by the time the last gen is done, they're only focused on themselves.

In most cases I die on my first hook, that's just the price of the solo queue.

And no, these are not low ranks, but the red ones.

But I don't want to just complain, there are also great rounds where everything works and we all get out, but most run differently. >.<

My advice is find some survivors from your games. I try to do that but sadly I play killer mostly due to waiting times. I can play at nights and at night times waiting time for the survivors are long so I pass the killer. I am rank 8 survivor not the greatest one but I enjoy playing with a team. If you want to you can add me from Steam and sometimes we can play together.

I get similar nonsense: survivors who would rather run away and waste a medkit or Inner strength or just basic Self Care, when they can clearly see I have We'll Make It and could also use a heal, please?

    Solo que. Just... Solo que.

One time, playing against oni, I had we'll make it, so healing took half the time.

there was this 1 guy who just refused to let me heal him... more than once.

    it's so dumb...

I had quite the opposite recently. They wouldn't let me heal them and I have we'll make it through to heal faster after unhooking but they'd just run away

This thread is the reason I play swf 99% of the time.

That's why I bring self care even though I've been told it's a noob perk and I should stop using it. Yeah well I suck at chases and it's hard to get people to heal me

I was doing an ooooooold compendium task "succeed skill checks X times while using This Is Not Happening" earlier and the others tried to heal me so I let them because I didn't want to trample on their kindness lol

I usually let people with medkits go heal on their own but if an injured surv comes near me and used tbagging as an S.O.S signal, I heal them. but I am a perpetually green rank player, so, take my words with a grain of salt.

And thats why you bring Self Care, so people can’t troll you..
