blocking player means they cant friend you in game

Blocking a player in DbD does not mean that you won't be matched with them again - it's a block of friend requests not of matchmaking.
There is no way to prevent a player from matching in with you.

"Blocking a player in DbD does not mean that you won't be matched with them again - it's a block of friend requests not of matchmaking."
That seems daft.
There is no way to prevent a player from matching in with you.
That seems dishonest, or at least actively deceptive. There are player IDs, yes? Then preventing IDs from matching with others should be possible.
Is there anything BHVR actually do to discourage a toxic game environment?
