Is there a downside to having xbox edition of dbd? and if not should i stay on it because i bought all of the dlc killers. And also any update on cross progression?

so you mean PC, but Windows Store instead of Steam?
well, then there should be no difference between Steam and Windows Store. But cross Progression is also not available for Windows Store.

No update on cross Progression for XBox and PlayStation.
XBox has only controller support and worse performance as far as i know (FPS drops etc). But that also depends on which XBox platform you have, new gen should be better (and cross Progression from older gen to new gen is possible for XBox)
