Deathslinger in Lery Map? You joking?
Just happened to me. Played Deathslinger and they sent me to Lery Hospital. I laughed at the absurdity of this. He wasn’t made at all for this map with tight corners and everything. I tried for a bit but after awhile I gave up and just let them finish and leave. What a joke map for him. Anyone else have any similar stories of being put in a map where you can’t play in at all?

this map is amazing for him, what? all the corridors are free hits and if they go through a window thats a free hit as well...wait thats like 80% of the map.
On top of this, he has a low terror radius so not only will survivors not see you coming, by the time they hear you, they wont have enough time to prepare for an escape.

All you have to do is hover around the many corners and such. Not to mention the whole team was red rank while I’m rank 12. The gun is useless in such a tightly packed map. Maybe you can make it work but I couldn’t. Not to mention that map is already heavily survivor sided.

In theory this sounds great until you realize all a survivor has to do is break los and your kinda screwed. The low tr is undoubtedly helpful but its not gonna be enough when your power is gimped so heavily by consistent los breakers. I highly recommend trying it because its probably filled me with more rage then any other killer games I have had. Indoor maps bar the game(its open enough) should not show up for huntress or deathslinger those killers should at the very least have a different movement speed to compensate for there heavily restricted power.

Yeah lery's is not necessarily a hard map to win on because I played deathslinger on that map a lot but it's so boring to play on that map, not just for deathslinger a lot of killers suffer from it because you can't use your power a lot. But back to deathslinger if you don't have monitor or survivors see you coming and they start holding forward it takes so long to catch up and some rooms in that map have structures that you can't shoot over, so yeah it's always a slog to play on that map

Hawkins is like that too if you face survivors who understand LoS breaks.

Try playing blight on Lery's
Short man with machete more like

It's one of his better maps for his low terror radius alone. He gets a ton of free hits because he doesn't have to ready his gun like Huntress has to ready hatchets, which is what makes her awful on that map because they get around corners before you can actually throw the hatchet. You just have to be more ready to essentially pre-fire survivors around corners. It is a really boring map though tbf no matter what killer you get.

It's a lot worse for killers like Billy, Nurse, Blight.... Your have a shorter range ability and can sneak up on them much easier, it's really not bad for Deathslinger at all. You can also hit them over the windows, which is that maps primary defense....

Not to mention it’s a got loops and pallets and vaults everywhere. It’s a playground for survivors. I usually am excited when I get that map as survivor. As killer no

I hate Hawkins as both killer and survivor. It’s miserable.

I don't hate hawkins, but the most frustrating part of that map is trying to cut off a survivor and the realizing the room has no opening to the otherside.

Wouldn't say it's a playground for survivors because that's more like haddonfield, ormond, some farm maps and badham but I will admit you can get very unlucky as a killer with some windows set ups and there's also a handful of annoying loops

Try playing it as blight or billy

I agree with other people who said it's amazing for him. Windows are the best thing ever for him because a survivor has to spend time vaulting them while he can just shoot through them.

I’d rather not have even less fun

Like Hawkins, this is very situational, because you can catch survivors in long corridors, where they have to run away from you in a straight line before they can reach a door or window or corner with which to break LoS.

Do what every killer does successfully on this map. Zone to an area where there is gens and proxy camp.

I suppose I would have to.
