Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Does anyone have a problem with wiggling speed

The wiggling seems unfair. I tested it with a friend. I let him down me on the end of the map so we could test how far he could take me and he carried me across half the map.

This was the one with corn field.

Not even flip flop is good enough any more.

Well yeah, the wiggling is supposed to take long.

It's not there to be a free escape, it's like that in the odd chance the killer decides to fall for survivors baiting them or taking protection hits

Nope. it's not designed to give you a free escape, it's to stop the Killer from taking you to the basement every single down.

The wiggle time is perfect imo. Not too long and not too short.

Play against a 4 player swf who rush you when you pick one of them up each taking a protection hit it works as intended.

I would be ok with shortening it by 1 second.

You know, you always need that 1 second to get away.

I never escape, even killer swipes another survivor. I rarely lose carried survivors either. No need to change it though imo

Sounds like its useless to wiggle. The solution is to stop wiggling.

    😉

Honestly I feel like it's a little bit too short. It allows too much room for error when hooking.

Agreed, wiggle is everything BUT an advantage to survivors, ;)

I’ve caught myself a few times recently wishing I had Boil Over. Been a few close calls with wigglin out.

I hate how I always seem to 100% the wiggle just as the hook animation begins. On my end it always seems like I have to wiggle to 102% to break free.

When I'm survivor it feels like killer can carry me across the map, when I'm killer it feels like I can't go 5 feet. 😂

I've been using Boil Over these last days, and I have to tell you countless times I've been hooked with the wiggle bar full. It's not worth it. Sometimes you can barely even notice the difference of having it or not. I actually only was able to escape once with it, by itself. Even though I position myself to make it difficult to carry me to the hook, it seems the killer always get at the hook in the last second. You get dependent on someone else diving in to help you or at least have Break Out to have a chance to make good use of it, or burn an indoor map offering and learn hook locations to position yourself when you're down.

Boil Over is pretty much pointless. The time to wiggle is still the same and as long as the Killer is not in a really awkward area where he really can get stuck on things, you will not get any benefit from it.

The only time a Survivor wiggled out with Boil Over against me was when they had 600 Ping (consistently 600 Ping, not Lagswitching or anything). Somehow the wiggle effect of Boil Over was way stronger with high Ping.

    @Topic:

As others have said, Wiggling is not to give you an escape. Mainly it exists so that the Killer cannot go freely for any Hook they like, they have to go for a nearby Hook. Otherwise you would end up in the Basement everytime.
