Why can't the killer adepts be to just get a 4k with your perks?
I just killed 4 survivors all using DS and 2 using unb + DS after they sent me to Haddonfield. 3 of them also were using 3 heal purple medkits and 2 people used BL. Luckily, they weren't exactly the best players.
But the whole match I was kicking gens when I could, keeping my chases at a medium length, made use of my power, and got several hooks but I only got "Ruthless killer". For the survivor adepts all you have to do is escape :/ So why can't killers get it with just a simple 4k?

I really, like REALLY, wish it was tied to just getting a 4k. I mean survivors just to have to escape.

It used to be before they changed how you pip. Once they change it so everyone is reset to rank 20 every reset getting a double pip will be easy since single pip in red ranks is a double pip at rank 20.

Sometimes it is better not to use your power. That is how I got my adept with Billy and Plague. Also can't wait to get my adept with Trickster. Might be the most difficult one yet, but at least rank reset gives me hope.

The vast majority of my adept failures are them DC'ing, taking the hatch, or I killed them too quickly...so dumb.
I agree it should be attached to the 4k. Not counting DC's or hatches would be good as well as that's essentially a 4k.

It was tied for 4K back when Merciless killer was just 4K.
Then they changed the pip system and made Merciless Killer not tied to 4K.
IIRC, it's hard to change achievements on consoles than it is for pc and the devs are trying to avoid making achievements that are different on the systems.

I liked the +2 requirement before the Mori nerf, because otherwise you could easily just throw on an ebony and get the achievement in your first match. Instead it was actually something challenging you needed to work towards, which is exactly what achievements should be in my opinion. Now that Moris have been nerfed I wouldn't be opposed to making it a 4k just for difficulty reasons, but I'd still oppose a change because it would cheapen the achievement for the players who have done it already.

Adept killer achievements are just a tedious amount of work with lots of luck bound to it (Accidental proximity hook camping, DCs, toolbox teams, etc).
Idk why survivors get to have such an easier time, it's not that there are that many more survivors than killers, atm there are 25 survivors and 23 killers (Including the latest PTB).
I hope they change those achievements, but hey it's not like it's a game changing thing so they probably don't give two poops.

There's nothing that says survivor and killer achievements should be equally easy to accomplish. I play both sides and don't feel aligned with one or the other and I have no problem with this; it only looks like a problem if you main one side and resent anything that is easier for the other side.

I'm a red rank survivor and Killer. I agree not all achievements are or should be on the same plane of difficulty. Making what is essentially the same achievement for both sides EXTREMELY more difficult for Killer seems just plain unfair when compared to the cake walk it is for a survivor

They should and would be able to change this with mmr. Being as mmr is its separate ranking they could recalibrate the ruthless and merciless requirements. Hopefully they will or trickery is fd being so mad and no gen defense lol

Because technically slugging all 4 survivors at the beginning of the game and having them bleed out constitutes as a 4k.

It used to be like that, cause the Killer Victory Cube changed earning Merciless Killer from getting max. BP to killing all 4.
Then they changed it again from killing all 4 to getting Iridescent Emblems, changing the adept requirements once again.
The reason why these have not been changed yet is cause PlayStation doesn't allow trophy changes if they are still technically achievable.
And they are still technically achievable.
And the devs do not want a difference between platforms on how to earn these, so they have been staying the same for a few years now.

Idk, I don't see how fairness comes into play unless you're comparing survivor with killer, and I don't see a need for that comparison; I just view them as harder achievements and easier achievements.
With that said, I don't think the killer achievements are that hard for most of the killers. There have been a few exceptions for me, anyway - Plague for example. She took me like four hours because 1) Because of the power spike she gets with her power people would often DC when I started snowballing, and 2) It's really hard to get malicious and chaser when everyone is constantly broken from your power, so you're stuck using her power sparingly. I was one pip away five or six times lol. Still, they're usually not that bad. Survivor ones are occasionally tough too fwiw, especially in solo queue; a lot of it just comes down to matchmaking luck.

The requirements are dumb for killer.
My advice is to derank to around rank 13 ( a double pip has the same requirements from 20-13 so no point in going past 13 imo) at that low rank you'll get easier survivors, and the requirement to double pip is less. If you noticing you're winning too fast sand bag a little and get more basic attack hits and hooks. Also abuse the killers strongest add ons
Only took me 3-4 games in the absolute worse case. Most killers were 1-2 games for me

I used my power, but not a whole lot though. Like I used it only for mobility really, only got 2 downs using blood fury.
