Dumb Tech Lithe is better than Smash Hit
Dumb Tech Lithe- Vaulting a pallet with Lithe after stunning the Killer will usually allow you to make it to another tile. The Killer is most likely to leave the pallet unbroken and continue the chase.
Smash Hit- Stunning the Killer with Smash Hit will allow you to make a ton of distance on the other side of the pallet. The Killer will usually drop the chase and break the pallet.
So which is more powerful? A perk that lets you extend a chase and preserve a pallet (or use it in a more normal way as a budget Sprint Burst at standard vaults). Or a perk that ends a chase and loses a pallet. If you're remotely interested in using Smash Hit, just use Lithe. It's way more versatile. Especially, if you're going against a Killer that ignores pallets (Nurse, Spirit, Pyramid) or just heavily respects them.

What about when you don’t want to use lithe but have to vault a window? Or if the killer has enduring?

Preserving pallets is not important unless no-one is doing gens. Smash hit lets you get so much distance it's insane and chase-ending for any m1 killer. And it doesn't get destroyed by Enduring or prevent you from vaulting anything.

Still not as bad as running Smash Hit against a Nurse
0 -
That’s fair but which is more common enduring or nurse?

At Rank 1 (where I play) definitely Nurse

it just depends
both are good options however they are both dangerous to use due to latency
personally I wouldn't recommend using either on normal servers but I can say for sure crossplay off pc has some of the best latency to use both on + it somehow has better queue times than regular servers
but also smash hit can buy you 4.7 seconds stun + break of running which is 24 + 2.8 meters speed burst and not speed burst distance lithe dumb tech can only buy you 10-12 meters of distance
id say the 12-14 meters of extra distance will usually straight up win the chase or best case scenario use a mediocre pallet to win the chase

I don’t know about that. The current rift is for nurse so numbers could be inflated but enduring is very common on killers like Freddy Myers and Ghostface so quite common from my experience

I never see Myers and Ghostface. And I would love to play against a Freddy that actually used chase perks instead of tons of slowdown, but unfortunately its pretty rare

I see Myers and Ghostface quite a lot at red ranks as their a lot of fun to people. Most Freddy’s do run slowdown but a lot run either brutal or enduring
Not to mention spirit fury on top

I run enduring on some killers but it's been a long time since I've seen it on a killer I'm going against.
I came across the first Myers I saw in ages yesterday, but my team killed themselves on first hook :)

I feel with the extra one second they added, you could still do the dumb tech with smash hit if you want.

Lithe tends to end chases better than any other exhaustion perk I've noticed. Likely due to the added obstruction of the killer having to slow vault the window while you're in the distance. I just don't see why smash hit needs that extra second? or will 4 seconds become the norm for exhaustion perks now.

Part of the speed boost is taken up by the pallet dropping animation, and I'm willing to bet they just didn't want it to say "3.5 seconds" in the perk description.

The wiggling needs to get fixed because there is a pause whwn your ready to beat the killer it gives the killer and extra few seconds to get your on a hook which is not fair. The killers do nor need any more advantages than what they already have. You need to give survivors a little more of a fighting chance. More killers arw body blocking and tunneling. Its crazy.

Dumb tech lithe can be stopped though with the right perk. Smash hit can't be stopped once stunned

In some cases, the killer will still be committed to chasing you, even if they break the pallet. Plus, Lithe can often be "wasted" by vaulting windows, a usual necessity. Moreover, smash hit is getting a 4 second sprint now, so it'll be a very useful perk to make use out of unsafe pallets.
