Do you like Breakable Walls?

Cool concept. I thought they'd be used to abandon RNG-dependent spawns and allow more ways of entry for Killer, but instead they added more RNG. Nevertheless, I don't mind them, though their placement (especially on reworked maps) tends to be quite questionable.

Behavior needs to realize breakable walls were a failure and stop adding them to reworked maps.

Most of them feel like predropped pallets that you have to break in order to not lose. The rest hurt you more than help you if you do break them.

I personally think they're quite balanced, some loops were way too strong.

they need to be on all killer shacks in all maps, not just Glendale other then that they just need to use and utilize them better

There's some of them that create infinites until you break the wall, it's quite a time waste for killers.

Depends on the map, honestly.

I don't like them
I hate them. When I'm killer, I don't need another task to do. When I'm either side, I don't need to run into a dead end at random times.

The idea wasn't bad, though the execution was terrible, especially on reworked maps.
While it sometimes can be used as a strat to create different loops and such, it also just ends up wasting the killers time and will be infinite loops if the killers refuse to break them.

I like em, they work like already dropped down pallets when combined with a window, but breaking it doesn't turn that area into a dead zone, instead turns it into an unsafe loop. You also have the choice of spending time breaking them to remove the risk of being looped there.
Though I gotta agree, some breakable walls are very badly placed, they could definitely have done a better job. Like the one in the Asylum which does literally nothing.

It's actually a pretty neat concept. My only issue with them is how dumb the breakable walls on the Game are. I've seen survivors trap themselves a lot by complete accident and it's pretty damn hilarious.
It's something no one asked for but the devs actually executed them really well. Rewards the killer by stopping a possible infinite loop.

Really hate them both as killer and survivor. For killer it wastes time and for survivor it creates less pathways to go through especially on some maps. Breakable walls are very annoying to break as well for killer. Devs should hold a feedback poll to see if players really like it or not. Currently I feel it's a major map design flaw rather than anything else.

i don't mind them they replaced real pallets with predropped pallets which is better

In a weird way I like them. It’s like cleaning up to me. Which I like to clean. Break some pallets, open up the doorways and let some fresh air in. Mop up the blood and you have yourself a lovely place to relax after a hard terrifying day.

Hell no. The current breakable walls are designed to waste the killer's already precious time instead of actually being useful. I do believe they can be reworked into something healthy though.

They were good in theory. The problem being is that the devs now use them as a free make an infinite but place a breakable wall next to it in every map now. It should break much faster than a pallet and the killer shouldn't be forced to be constantly breaking walls just to stop future loops. It should be more of an option, causing the killer to think whether or not it will benefit him more or the survivors more if he breaks something.
Similar to the walls in the garage on Wraith's map, if you break the walls there before the gen is completed, sure you can get there faster, but it also adds an extra escape route for the survivors, making you think if it's worth it or not.

I think they were nice idea but poorly implemented. I think if they were actual doors - like survivor/killer could open/shut but killer could destroy to remove them from the game - they could be more fun. They are something that's supposed to help the killer but they've saved me as survivor more often. The dead ends they create will only get a survivor the first time, after that they're pretty useless.

Yeah they need to go back to the drawing board for this one. There are way too many that create busted loops.

I like them as trapper since it limits entrances and exits, but every other killer it's just a time waster and an easy 100bp.

Myres with 0% terror radius and a Survivor repairing a generator right on the other side is probably the only time breakable walls are any fun just for their reaction
