They Somehow Made Trickster worse!
They removed the laceration bonus on ricochet knives. WHY!?
Those were what made him relatively decent. Most of the community, even survivor mains were saying to decrease the amount of knives it takes to damage and you ignored that in favor of making a purple tier add-on (his best add on) trash. People now need to run his iridescent to just make using his power bearable and it was worse than his purple by quite a bit.
Why is this guy 110%? I truly do not understand this thinking. the main event changes are whatever I dont think they help all that much, but this add-on change just hurts him.
Im not buying this chapter, not interested in the perks and this killer is garbage compared to huntress or deathslinger.

So it really says something if a purple add on was needed to make him even remotely bearable to play, now we dont even have that. This is equivalent if BHVR decided to get rid of the windstorm add ons for wraith without adjusting his base cloak speed at all. It's why so many people asked for the ricochet part to be base kit and to lower the amount of knives to 6 or even 5.

Honestly its surprising, crazy, but also a helluva milestone for behavior to gut a killer that sucked ass in ptb, but is now made even worse

The new chapters are meant to be fun for survivors. Stop being entitled killer main, we have enough OP killers in the game with Spirit, nurse, freddy, deathslinger, pyramid, leatherface, huntress, and now soon wraith as well, we don't need anymore.

Pyramidhead, LF, Slonger and huntress are not OP in the slightest, all of them have a measly 50-56% killrate

what an incredibly poor hot take. "ONLY SURVS PLAY NOW SO ONLY SUPPORT THEM"! Why do you think survs have such a long que time? Or keep getting terrible match making? Because the majority of killers are losing interest. With just survs, they have no game

There's a difference in wanting an S tier killer and wanting a killer whose power isn't meant to just be canon fodder for survivors just for their amusement. Trickster needed a lot of work from the PTB and we'll see if he got it or if he's still garbage. 110% killers usually have a super strong ability. With Trickster he's unreliable, has no pressuring tools, can be juked and is addon hungry. The only positive is his perks are nice which in my view since that's the only reason to purchase him he isn't worth buying at all unless you're playing against bad survivors.
People may think he's good with the MMR system because no one is going to have matchmaking data with him so they'll be paired against worse off survivors at first and think he's not so bad but in reality once they get to where they normally are he's pretty bad. At least for purple / red rank type survivors.
In reality though this MMR system is so BHVR can kill the terminology we use to dictate how much experience a player has. Rank isn't a dictation of skill but an estimate - It isn't reliable but it's a public badge to gauge how experienced players are and how frequently they play.

Problem? It should've been BASE! The killer is absurdly weak. Most likely going to be the weakest in the game.

The problem of him being dependent on that add on. You don't want him to be dependent on the add on you want to get rid of that dependency and then buff his power another way
