Perk Idea: Field Medic
The best medics are deft and their patients barely notice their work.
Unlock the ability to heal survivors who are engaged in other tasks. The survivor being healed incurs a 40%/30%/20% penalty to their task’s progression speed while being healed.

Wowww that sounds really ######### cool, not meta but a really nice perk, love it, good idea!!

Thank you! I think it would be so fun! I agree, it wouldn’t be meta, but still useful. Especially if you have a “medic build” with autodidact and botany knowledge!
But on its own, I dunno, maybe it’s faster to leave the gen, get healed, then work the gen together. I don’t know the numbers well enough to determine optimal play, but it would sure be fun!
lol imagine a circular chain of 4 survivors all healing each other!

Finally a solution to Dwight working on a gen instead of letting me, who has we'll make it on my build, heal them.

Yeah, is very interesting. Good job.

I like it! But in the future, this should be put in creations. Mods will likely move it

Its a good idea although borderline a little too strong imo.

I think the drawback should in the other direction. Healing someone performing another action incurs a 40%/35%/30% speed reduction to healing them.

But what if he has Resilience, and repairs faster while injured?

The healing rate could incur a smaller penalty, and the gen repairer could also have a small penalty to their repair, and that would feel better for me.
However, it's a great idea and I'd have no issue with a perk like this coming into play. Neat idea! :)

50% reduction on action speed. anything less than this is way too strong

They should add a buff icon to the HUD to make that clear. There are a ton of perks that could use this actually. Deliverance, for example.

Yeah
but I need my bp

In regard to resilience, maybe give survivors a button to push to cancel healing if they don’t want it. Effective for 30 seconds.

It doesn't give second chance or help in chase like every other meta perk, therefore nobody would run it
