I really hate how tunneling is a viable strat.
Legit for 10 ######### games straight. I got tunneled off hook, and it wasnt because "oh it was easy to chase" more often than not id get chased ALL game and im not doing anything wrong. I'm literally just trying to play the game and then I get tunneled anyway. And theres no incentive to stop it. "Take DS" do u think that ds stops a killer and goes "WOW I SHOULD STOP TUNNELING" no. they just get angrier and tunnel u more

That's how the game is right now. Twelve hooking is not a viable option unless you want to toy with survivors.

Then make gen times slower to compensate and add a punishment system for repeat back to back hooking like a loss of an emblem. because it just isnt fair to play against

Tunneling is only viable if they go after a weaker player. If they make the mistake of going after a strong looper they can be lucky to get a 1K and In some cases get 0 kills if the survivors a lot better than them in chase.

Many killers can basically bypass loops like Spirit. This sadly doesnt apply anymore.

I don't mean to be annoying or anything but I think you mean omniscient. Omnipotent means all power not all knowing.

Before a tunnel can happen, you have to fail at stealth and fail again at escaping the chase twice.

Spirit with strider may be the only exception but even she can struggle depending on the skill of the survivor. There are survivors out here that are gods in chases so if you're not smart enough to leave them and tunnel someone else you're not going to do to well with that strat.

How are you doing in chases? I think most less experienced killers will tunnel when they know they're going to lose but they find a "weak link" so to speak.
A good killer is never going to get 1 hook early game and just tunnel that player out. No way, never. They'd sacrifice too much gen pressure. Well, maybe a Pyramid Head but that's their gimmick.

I play mid ranks and get tunnelled once every 20 odd matches, its barely an issue for me. Decent killers will at least slug you rather than full on tunnelling you out.

You're just on this forum to state your own opinion and try to sound super super smart against anyone who challenges you. We all know you didn't get tunneled off the hook 10 games in a row. "You're just trying to play the game" Yeah well so are killers. You want to talk about being intellectual? Play killer for a couple of matches and you'll see why so many of them have turned to tunneling. Don't tell me you do play killer either because it's clear from all your posts that you don't. You have not one complaint about anything that a survivor does but you essentially want the whole game torn apart and rebuilt because you had a rough game against a killer. It's okay you'll get better eventually and start playing better.
Nobody is looking at your posts and going wowwww it's our almighty saviour, this person was sent here to fix DBD and make it perfect hoorah.

Yes, state my opinion, hence the word DISCUSSION. You are welcome to disagree but saying "i dont believe u bc i said so" has about as little meaningfulness as "wikipedia said" I have played killer many times, im AWARE of why they tunnel. It's annoying as ######### that gen times are as fast as they are, which you'd know if you actually went through my posts. But you didnt. you chose to cherry pick and make it sound like i only play survivor.
I want BAD things in the game to change. Are you really gonna be a bootlicker over it.
