Gen rush
What can survs do against a good nurse? Nothing. What can survs do against a good spirit/freddy? Gen rush. What can survs do against myers infinite tier 3? gen rush. Can you escape from an average clown chase? No. Solution, gen rush. What can you do against bubba? throw pallets. What happens when there's no pallets? You die. Solution, gen rush.
Don't you think the game would be healthier is killers don't be so overpowered 1vs1, all be like doctor or myers, and survs need to do something else to escape. Long games, less stressful, more chases,...

Thats a bold statement. Especially since you name Clown as being OP.
So, lets just assume, the devs would nerf each and every single killer. Do you think the gen rushing would stop?

Killers are suppose to be powerful in 1v1 because it's a 1v4 game.

Yes, clown is totally op in chases, but he has no map pressure. And that's the error, we need longer games, with more conditions to escape and less powerfull killers

Gen rushing isn't even a thing. Or rather it rarely is a thing. But you've gotta think about this though...
So you want some killers to have worse chase abilities and as a trade-off there are more survivor objectives, am I getting that right? This would be more fun for survivors, but only when you're getting chased. The rest of the time you'd be doing mundane objectives, and holding down a button or hitting a skillcheck or whatever even more than we already do now. The killer can only interact with one person at a time while the rest of the survivors are doing busywork and not having any fun.
And if you make killers less chase-oriented and more objective-oriented that's now more boring for killer players too because the most fun part of this game for the majority of people is the chase, and you'd be checking on objectives etc (the boring part of the game) more than you'd be interacting with the other side (the fun part of the game). There's a reason why Spirit, Deathslinger, Huntress and Blight etc are popular and fun killers and Hag and The Twins aren't.

Please go play some matches as killer because your opinion is so one sided. You don't understand how this game needs to work for the killer to have a chance. If a killer is weak in 1v1 then he gets destroyed in a 1v4 and there's no point in them even playing. But keep the same opinion if you like and keep wondering why the survivor queues keep getting longer and killers keep moving to survivor or stop playing all together.

But you realize its a 4vs1. The killer has to be as strong as 4 survivors and should not be balanced for 1vs1.

I'm trying to help killers, not survs. I have 3,500 hours and I escape 3/4 matches. Gen rush exist, and I do it with resilience too (8 secs less per gen). But that's only because you can't do much in a chase. If you want to escape this is the only option we have. And because of this you see 5 min. matches, killers stressed, prove thyself, resilience,... Probably devs will nerf gens again, so you'll see more of these perks, and more people gen rushing. Then they'll nerf it again, and you'll see always 4 survs splitting in gens, .... This has to stop

Yeah something needs to be done about gen speeds though I’d rather they don’t just make them take longer. Some kind of early game collapse would be fine

But if you add some kind of second objective for survs, this only will do gen rush worse. This only can't be the solution.

You can slow down the early game, yes. And you´ll see more prove thyself or resilience and gen rush, because survs can't do anything against so many killers.

Only killers survivors can’t do much about are nurse and spirit who both need nerfs. The rest are either balanced or underpowered

Gen speeds already feel painfully slow from the survivors perspective, even though they're not in practicality, so I wouldn't want to just slow down all gen speed.
The problem is early game rush. The killer can't be in 7 places at once, so getting one gen completed right away is almost guaranteed, and 3 is not unheard of.
What we need is an additional starting objective.
What if: Generators can't be repaired unless you possess a Wrench.
Wrenches spawn around the map (maybe 6-8 in total, with offerings to increase them) and you collect them similarly to the Red Glyphs in the current tome. Once you have one, the rest vanish from your perspective, and you get a permanent buff for the rest of the game that allows you to repair generators.
Purple Toolboxes and a Green Toolbox add-on also allow you to repair gens just like a Wrench, but only while you have that undepleted Toolbox. This would prevent emptying the toolbox immediately, you'll have to save it for a more opportune moment, because as soon as you deplete the toolbox you'll have to go find a Wrench.

You're not helping killers by making them weaker in the 1v1 as a survivor you're suppose to go down, if you're able to continually loop the killer then the gen rush is going to be even worse if they aren't smart enough to leave you and then we are going to get even more killers doing those things survivors love which is slugging, tunneling and camping to win. Because some people really want to win survivor and killers alike so if you make them weak in the 1v1 killers will take these options more often because they want to win the match.

I want a gen rush solution, needing more objectives to escape, but I think you need to nerf killers to pig, doctor or myers level, because now this is not a game of killer against survs. Now this is a game killers and survs against time.

I love this idea, it works kind of the same way the healing mechanic works I assume? No healing without items or help.
This would make matches so much more fun. Would it the wrench be an item? Like if you hold an item you can't pick up a medkit, key, etc?
If so it would fix two problems at once. If you want to use a key you sacrifice one player working on gens, if you want to do gens you can't use keys.

I'd say no. The Wrench would be it's own effect, like a Buff. Either temporarily via a toolbox, or permanently via a Wrench. I think it would be way too restrictive if you couldn't even touch a gen if you were carrying a med kit or a torch. The ability to replace it temporarily with a Toolbox already bypasses the need to go find a Wrench at the start. But it would promote healthier use of those toolboxes, they can't be used for immediately gen rushing anymore.
That said, it could open the door to killer perks such as "Hooked survivors lose their Wrench. 3 Additional Wrenches spawn on the map." and they're forced to find another one.
Also... they could rework Keys to function like Wrenches. You have an item slot you an load before entering the match (Toolbox, Med Kit, Flashlight, Map) and then a secondary slot that can only be filled with items you find (Wrenches, Keys, Firecrackers)
