Does Billy's chainsaw have a magnet?
Or an intoxicating perfume? Candy? Why are survivors drawn to it so much? You KNOW he's camping, you can hear him or see him with kindred. But instead of doing gens while someone is on the 1st hook survivors just wait for their turn on the chainsaw. Am I missing a secret chainsaw award? I just don't get it.

You mean Billy or Bubba?
Or both?
I don't see many camping Billys, just Bubbas.
Also, I think most people want to go for the unhook because their altruism and sense of duty to their team becomes overwhelming. It's a good trait to have in team based scenarios, but not always the best if pure survival is at risk.

or grinding out the rift....I'm just having fun ;)

I think it's the same sickness or lure that infects survivors that somehow think it's a good idea to rescue somebody from the hook when I haven't taken more than 5 steps... then makes a habit of it.... then complains when I start anticipating it and not leaving the hook after a bit.
It's not just a survivor thing - it's a player thing. People who don't put much thought into their gameplay infect multiplayer gaming. it is what it is.

You are more likely to succeed saving against a camping Billy than a Bubba player.
With Bubba, 99% of the time it's gonna be a trade or quite often a double down since he can chainsaw multiple survivors.

As THAT survivor, I swear to you it's a freaking moth to a light effect. 😂
I get really guilty if someone gets hooked and I get to the gate. Like "what if this rando hates me if I see me walk out this gate?!"
Then my SWF scolds me for thinking this way, because when I go in to save them, I'm downed and essentially traded out some rando for myself. "See Potato? This is why we don't help people"
I tell myself "maybe the rando will thank me"...its a thankless endeavor LOL
it helps if I'm not caring about bloodpoints or pips. I recently prestiged someone and poured a buncha blood points on em, so I sorta want some more wins. Maybe I'll be more selfish. Or maybe I'll still stay altruistic. Who knows.

lol good to know! I was going to go with candy. Like survivors have an identity crisis and think they're piñatas:P

It's only in endgame that my identity crisis makes me run towards my fellow man on hook screaming "I WILL BE YOUR HERO BABY", followed by a swift chainsaw to my face and a backflip into the floor lmao
I'd never attempt it mid game though. I run Kindred in 100% of my games. If some Bubba decides to admire his newly-hung piñata somewhere off in the distance, I'll just keep on my gens until he decides he doesn't like his piñata anymore and goes to find a new one. But I relish in knowing I'm not gonna have the candy knocked out of me anytime soon lol

I am this survivor if I know a killer is camping i will try and save no matter what purely because the constant anxiety of is that person gonna be toxic because I did gens and left them however if it's a bubba cya I know my camping killers and he is the king of camping you get camped by him I'm gen rushing also just the knowing of how it sucks to be stuck on hook earning no points having no fun in said match makes me feel like I have to at least try.
