How would you feel about a literal M1 killer?
Something's been on my mind recently, specifically an idea my friend suggested for a more 'normal' killer.
Instead of having a power, what if they were a literal m1 killer with their gimmick being altered/abnormal attributes? Eg. Super low or no terror radius, faster than other killers, the ability to break pallets faster with your weapon/m1 rather than normally but maybe on some sort of 'weapon' cooldown(though I guess that would be a 'power').
What do you think? I personally think it could be cool, but unbalanced, especially if you alter their speed. Not 'broken' as I feel they'd maybe lack map pressure, but still pretty unfair.

Itd be boring for both sides. No power would be boring for the killer, and it's not exactly fun to face a killer that has nothing to them.

If you're altering stats to make up for not having a power that itself is a power. Literal M1 killer would be 115% 32m TR no ablity or difference in numbers M1 killer.
So basically Legion.

Just play Trapper without using a single trap and there you go.

Maybe if his power was to strip survivors of all perks and everybody was forced to play basically perkless...that’s the only way I’d consider a straight up M1 Killer.
Id play him just for the salt.
(I know this would never happen)

Myers? Legion? Trapper?

I would be intrigued. Then again... I seem to be the odd one out that I really like M1 Killer gameplay. Love playing Legion and Myers. My most fun game of Twins was one where somebody kept Victor for 90% of the match and I let them.
However you'd have to give this guy some crazy good passive buffs to not make him too weak. Like... they move at 130% or higher when there's no healthy or injured Survivor within 32 meters of them and they perform all break, pick up, hook, and vault animations 10% faster. Even with that or things like it, a lot of people probably wouldn't bother getting them. And yes I realize that that first buff would essentially give them arguably a better Whispers as a base kit perk.

Sitting at his desk every day, he felt his soul slowly chipped away through the monotony. The faint buzzing of the fluorescent light overhead, the faint stench of mold growing on the cubical dry-wall. The tapping of fingers on keyboards incessant, mind bending, reality warping. Not a thought passed as he mindlessly fulfilled his role. He had accomplished nothing, been loved by no one, unable to have kids in a marriage of convenience. His reality would be soul crushing, if there were a soul left. Empty and alone, there was nothing left to take, the dark walls of reality began to crumble around him as his senses were clouded by a thick, drowning fog. Somehow thicker than himself, he felt weightless as he began to float towards the ceiling upon a wave of dark smoke, before a black tendril snaked around his chest and began dragging him deep into the fog.
Join us in the Hollow Crypt DLC, and meet the new killer, John "The Husk". No power, no buffs, a puppet with no will of their own, driven only to act by mindless obedience for command.

I already play no-shock-doc so I wouldn't really care

Sounds kinda interesting to me actually. Unfair, but interesting. This idea was suggested by a friend for killers such as Norman Bates or Jack Torrence which is what I mean by 'normal'. So the survivors also being normal would sort of make sense.
