I had left for a few weeks after getting super frustrated (I've since come back but I've set myself up with some pretty strict rules in playing this game and if I break one again, I'm going to shut it down forever).
You're certainly not the first person leaving now and you'll not be the last. It's a shame that this game CAN be super good but more often than not it just...isn't. But there's really nothing like this to play out there so we come crawling back asking for more...

This is what makes me very glad that I'm not in love with asymmetrical game design. Originally, I only bought DbD for the licensed horror icons, so it was easy to finally put it down. I haven't had it installed since November-December, but haven't completely written it off yet. Though, the longer I'm away the more likely it seems to be the end result.
Luckily, I prefer team games like Overwatch, but even that I only play with the Friends & Family team.
If I was a huge fan of the asymmetrical game design . . . yeah, it'd be rough going. I feel for you guys.

Honestly from both sides this game would be more fun if the killer was more powered. It would force the survivors to work together more, value their time and goals, etc. and best of all they couldn’t afford to be toxic and troll. This game is suppose to be horror, though honestly it’s a nightmare for the killer.

See they want this game to still be either 4 vs 1, or 1vs1vs1vs1vs1. Historically they have floated the idea of every survivor their themselves and that they're not necessarily a team.
This in my opinion worked with the old hatch because there was almost guaranteed safety for 1 survivor. Now however I find that more often than not you die at endgame, the killer closes the hatch and the gates for me never spawn far enough to make it out. So it makes no sense survivors not working as a team because there's such little chance of escaping otherwise.

The only thing they care about is P2W. If u don't own ruin/banboozo/BBQ/POP then your game experience as killer is just really bad, and all of them is in paid DLC. Same goes to survivor 2, DS is in a paid DLC which can not be unlocked with shards. Basiaclly if u don't pay some more money u can't enjoy the game at all. I play on my second account in low ranks and basically every round I play nobody brings DS and they r just miserablem, killer tunnels hooked survivor like 3 times out of 4 games. I mean we already paid for this game while they still make so many pay walls which is insane, no need to mention there are so many fan boys to BHVR who love paying money to them

To be fair if players with equal skill are matched with each other, killer will almost always lose

MMR will definetly make streamers drop off. Every game will be a complete sweat fest. AIt will be impossible for some killers to get past a certain MMR as it all becomes key and 3 BNP 4 man SWF. High MMR survivors will only face spirit and nurse. People like me who sometimes plays the game super sweaty and sometimes plays like a memelord will be shafted. I will basically be forced to run meme builds or else I will smash everyone at my MMR and if I sweat then it will be impossible to play meme builds without getting smashed. As bad as the current matchmaking can be MMR will be so so much worse
