I'm sorry but I'm tired of people complaining about NOED. I understand it's a really annoying perk and I hate dying to it but some of you act as if there's no counter play to it. Do totems ( i know that gets brought up in every thread but it's the truth).
Bring a map, small game, detectives hunch, seriously how long are y'all gonna complain??? It's the only second chance perk that killers have and I play more survivor.

And just after this got posted, two wild 'nerf noed' posts appeared...
:/

Just add a Bone Counter. That's my solution and I know it was thrown around awhile back.

Put it on Small Game, though.
7 -
someone said this in the other noed thread and I'd be all for it.
4 -
I wouldn't be opposed to that change. As long as it's something to help know if someone did any because there have been times where I got 4/5 and assumed someone did the last one because I couldn't find it just to get NOED'd first then get left to die XD
1 -
haha those two were already up before mine.

If not this then make a new perk, have it tell you how many totems remain and give 20% bp bonus to altruism for each totem broken (lit or unlit).

I hope you devs are reading this!

How about a perk were a survivor can't be interupted cleansing totems. I like your idea though .

If you are tired of seeing the NOED posts where people complain about them, don't click on them.
2 -
And I said the bone counter as well it would be fair to solo ques.
0 -
How about once Noed activates it alerts all survivors before someone is hit.
4 -
It's because I see it every day when there are other issues we should actually be worried about.
2 -
It doesn't need to be a totem counter, but a indicative that a totem was broken (like some weak thunder noise, very weak compared to the normal lit totems).
I feel like adding totem counter adds too much information without requiring any brain to process it.

The problem is we don't need three new threads a day.
There would be one stickied NOED post. All other posts get deleted or merged. It is spam at this point.

I don't really care about NOED, I want rancor fixed because I have died many times to doing my objective and not being able to hide. I remember one match where I kept trying to get people to do the last gen so I could hide, and it was so unfun because I knew no matter what I did the spirit would phase, down, and mori me because of her perk. At least with noed it's just doing bones, but rancor takes your primary objective and punishes you or one of your teammates for it.

I rarely see rancor in my games and I have yet to experience losing like that.

Try to get your team to bodyblock for you. The obsession can guess that the Killer has Rancor and get behind people to take hits for them.

Had a Billy on AH that used NOED. 2 teammates caught and taken to basement just as me and Dwight 99 both gates. We searched for NOED but couldn't find it in time, Dwight goes down and taken to basement. I find NOED, Billy leaves shack and zooms towards the EG nearest to the totem, so I run in for the save. Dwight gets out of shack and goes to his gate while Killer focuses on me. Makes a mistake and M1s me on stairs which lets me get out. Dwight opens gate right as I vault a window and get there. We both escape.
NOED is fine. It punishes you if you don't do bones during the match but you can still go hunting for it after it activates if you're feeling risky/want to save other teammates. In my defense, I honestly didn't think a Billy would run NOED so I didn't focus on bones as much. But that was my own fault and I paid for it by losing 2 teammates at the end. Even though the Dwight thanked me and the other 2 commended me for the save at the end game lobby, I still felt like I let the other 2 down. But lesson learned. Can never be too sure.

I have seen it a few times, more in recent games and since the last gen can pop across the map without you expecting it the killer will just barrel over to you for that sweet sweet mori lol! It's kind of rare, I agree, but I have only escaped against rancor once. I'm not fantastic at this game, but I ave yet to really dislike a perk like I do with rancor just because I either die or feel bad for not being able to protect the obsession!
As a solo queue player, this isn't that easy. I have tried to motion them over to gens while I go in a locker, but it sometimes seems like I'm sandbagging. Without communication it's hard to show people my situation ;w; And the body blocking is hard because they think I'm trying to sandbag lol!

You shouldn't have to bring a rainbow map and a perk like small game to prevent a total endgame sweep, or even scout out for 5 totems, which can be a total waste of time. Its very existence is a terrible part of the game. There is so little input required (and if you have enough pressure up, totems aren't going to be a part of the equation), for such aa high reward.
Other hexes can be cleansed before they even work by finding one special totem. I would love to run huntress' lullaby, but I can't. NOED should get the same treatment; designate one dull totem to be activated, and if it is cleansed by endgame, it won't proc. That, in addition to a general nerf. It's supposed to help you salvage a game that didn't go so well, not win you the game.

It's kinda simple. People who complain about NOED are the ones who die frequently to it, which means they're not as good as they think they are. The only thing they see is "Ah one shots at the end" and facts like NOED does nothing in 95% of the time, It's preventable, the killer plays with only 3 perks the entire match get completly ignored. Arguments like "it's impossible to do bones when you play against a good killer" or "I get punished for playing too good" are completly bs. I brought this up on another thread but I found a YT comment that is spot on in my opinion.
1. If the survivors have the upperhand they can easily spare time to break bones. If they dont, they get punished for rushing and a NOED up their a**. AKA it wouldnt have mattered to have NOED.
2. If the game is about 50/50, then NOED doesnt really have that big of an impact. Because enough people would either already be dead or injured by the time NOED can activate. Or survivors have Adrenaline, and NOED counters it. Meaning that it would only matter because you were running Adrenaline in the first place. If you didnt run Adrenaline, NOED wouldnt have mattered in terms of instadowns.
3. If the killer has the upperhand, survivors wont be able to finish gens at all, and in the chance that survivors do finish the gens, they would still be very likely to be injured anyway, meaning the instadown doesnt matter at all, or they have adrenaline, in which case, NOED counters it.

You need to add HOPE to that list of perks that you can run to help against NOED.
People keep forgetting about that one. NOED Gives the killer a 4 percent speed boost. But Hope boosts the survivors 7% which help nullify NOED's speed boost. Not a hard-counter, but might help you get to that next window when you're trying to get away.
This game gives you so many ways to deal with things you don't like... flippin' run them. Hell, Hag was the biggest reason I ran Urban Evasion for the longest time till I "got gud" vs her.

There isn't; enough incentive to 'do bones' that's why they never get done. I've maybe seen 2 matches in 4 years that have had Noed fall out from under the killer before it's activated because all the bones where done before it popped.
Some matches I take a pink map and small game and end up spending the entire match JUST looking for bones and at the end of the match 9 times out of 10 I haven't been able to find the last totem and Noed either pops or it doesn't depending on weather it was taken by the Killer or not.
Having 'done bones' all match and NOTHING ELSE because I didn't have time to I'll end up with 5-10k bp max
The reward for dedicating the entire match to doing bones needs to be vastly increased so EVERYONE does it and it's not all put onto one Survivors shoulders. I'm talking 10k bp each dull totem you find that stacks over and above the match bp limit. 15k bp for hex totems.
There also needs to be a totem counter much like the gen counter because all the totems could be done and you could be running around wasting time that could be spent unhooking / mending / juking etc
