If IT (the clown) were added, power based on fear?

I would really like to see ITs power have a passive effect based on fear. It would be amazing if the game could recognize certain survivor playstyles and then affect each survivor with what they fear most...

  • A survivor's hiding all match and scared of gens: constantly hears the edge of the terror radius.
  • A survivor's desparate for attention to take the killer's aggro: constantly sees fake pallets or fake red stains.
  • An over-altruistic survivor with a flashlight: suffers from the hindered status effect while a survivor is being picked up.
  • A gen-jockey who sits on gens the whole match: they randomly get fake, or no, audio warnings for skill checks.

If IT is claimed to be on the same level as the Entity, then it would make sense that IT could "borrow" certain effects from other killers and perks.

----

What other possible playstyles are there and what would those types of survivors fear the most?

Gottdamn that sounds like a fun killer to play lol.

If they did add IT. I would 100%, in a heartbeat, buy an overpriced cosmetic if it allowed me to be classic Tim Curry IT.

Edit: oooooh and the homeless leper IT form from the new one as well.

It sounds like something survivors would cry and complain about a lot.

I say all of his perks should be named after his classic Curry era quotes too.

    "Kiss me fat boy"

    "See you in your dreams"

    And

    "Beep, beep richie!"

Not that I'd know yet what they ought to do

Edit: one of the quotes was off.

This is pretty much doctor's madness with extra steps. If they can add various thing to madness then I'm pretty sure they can do it. Hopefully no bugs inside Pennywise.

So many angles you could utilize his power towards.

*He could disguise himself as a participating survivor

*can distort what survivors see by creating illusions.

*can utilize/puppet the corpses of survivors he's mori'd to whatever advantage that might buy him.

*generate trap balloons that if popped by survivor notifiy killer/causes hemorrhage

*flash deadlights and traumatize victim survivor. That survivor now suffers from horribly difficult skill checks/slowed repair and cleansing time, until another survivor clears them up with a passionate kiss.

Reviving thread because it deserves it.

To add, along with IT, there should also be a couple of losers for survivors.

Obviously you'd start with bev, but which guy?

Bill, Ben, richie? Probably bill cause he's the main guy, but any would work.

You'd also have cool ass perks such as:

    *hi-ho silver

    *eat battery acid, you slime!

    *winter fire

    *maturin's blessing

    *placebo effect

    *rock war!

    Edit: typo- a letter

I love all of your ideas and it would make an interesting and scary killer to face. As for their power, I'd like them to copy a spell from WoW that Warlocks had called "Fear". It would basically make their opponent lose control of themselves and run away. Obviously they'd have to tweak it to work in this game, but I think it could be very interesting.

As a killer, it would be funny seeing the survivor run away while screaming and unable to vault, drop pallets or work on gens. To make it fair, the killer shouldn't be able to attack those that are feared until it wears off or until they use it on someone else.

He would be garbage if his power relied on making survivors fearful, they are not afraid of anyone who isn't a spirit or nurse. /s

That sounds cool though, however we already have a clown and another licensed killer is probably not what this game needs.
