Freddy should be able to transport to the exit gates ad well
Why shouldn't Freddy ba able to transport to the exit gates.Why is his teleport limited to just the gens. I don't get it . Remember me is a slow down door perk.And blood warden also slows survivors from exiting. It is like after the last gen pops he forgets how to use his power it makes no sense

To answer your question of "why shouldn't Freddy be able to ..."
Well because he is the strongest killer in the game, with the strongest power in the game (teleporting) AND on top of that he has a completely other ability. He doesn't need to be stronger, that's why he shouldn't be able to teleport to exit gates.
BECAUSE HE IS STRONG ENOUGH.

Yeah, maybe PGTW should also be reworked that it can regress Exit Gates. You know, so that Freddy can have something to do when he teleports to one of them.
Seriously, he is strong enough and needs a Nerf which makes him actually need to have a brain to be played. Also, the Devs considered teleports to Exit Gates when they reworked him, but were against it. So they already thought about it.

Because he teleports to generators, not exit gates. He can't teleport to powered generators, why should he be able to teleport to a powered exit gate?

Yes, because that's all everyone would need if Freddy got this buff. You know what'd be even better? Once every toxic Freddy main discovered this newfound gem adding the perks NOED, Remember Me and Blood Warden to his teleportation of exit gates.

He just didn't, and still doesn't, need the strength. He's plenty strong already and not being able to port to the gates provides some counterplay to his endgame and teleport ability. He's commonly called the third best killer in the game for a reason (I'd definitely place him top 5)

I think it's unfair too they should remove his power cooldowns completely and tweak it so that using his power when 5% of a survivors hotbox is in Los instantly downs. Maybe make that in a new common add-on like the dream pallets? Just an idea might need a small amount of work for counterplay

Also, Freddy still literally has blood pools after the exit gates are powered. So this argument doesn't even hold water. Freddy could never teleport to the exit gates. So he didn't lose any ability. Not sure why I'm engaging though, when it's clear you're not having this discussion in good faith.

Do you think that Freddy has the correct balance between effort and Strength? IMO the contestants for the third place Killer are:
Freddy, Hag, Blight, Oni, Pyramid Head. Those for sure. Maybe Billy, Huntress and Deathslinger as well.
And now compare the effort of all of them with Freddy. It should be easy to see that Freddy is way too easy for his Kit.

Freddy isnt that good. Hillbilly has map traversal and instadowns from the get-go, Freddy has nothing for 45-60 seconds. Pyramid has a power from the start and Hag has a better snowball.
Freddy is strong because his early game is so weak. Even his snares are overrated. People compare him to clown and ask whats the point in playing clown, its true that the snares are more powerful due to a longer effect of slowdown but everyone forgets that freddy can only plant snares in a loop as he moves around it. Clown as an example can throw gas ahead to slow a survivor down and force a medium vault if they try to reach a god window.
Do you think the maps are balanced for survivors? Do you think an area like badham school where you hold forwards and drop the occasional pallet should be able to waste as much time as they do? And from there cycle to the house of pain another well balanced area. The badham maps arent the only maps like this. Survivors often just need to hold forwards in chases to waste minutes of time. Thats the equivalent of freddy requiring no skill, survivors wasting so much time at braindead loops and maps.

If we somehow end up with a meta where Freddy is weak again you can bring it up again as a possible buff.

If anyone wished your parents dead I'm sure it was just a random lunatic. Why you would throw us all into that pool is beyond me. I play all killers at Rank 1 including Fred and it takes a optimal team that's know how to exploit his weaknesses, a favorable map, favorable rng on that map, and they still need a few mistakes made by me to have a chance at the end. This usually gets them to the point where they get the fifth gen after a longggg battle and only one making it out. The one finishing the gen getting caught the other bolting out the gate. He is ridiculous and that's from a pure bred killer main who plays survivor only for rift challenges and hates it.

As a long time Freddy main, I have to disagree with this idea. The ability to teleport to exit gates would make him unfair to go against. There is a reason why this feature was not added in the first place.
In my opinion, the only change that my babe needs is the ability to revert his power back to its original version.

Because theoretically Freddy's power should help you keep the gens from getting done in the first place. Killers should have weaknesses as well as strengths and one of Freddy's biggest weaknesses is his lack of endgame pressure, because of how strong he is at delaying the game. Honestly most good Freddys don't even see the gates get powered because of his map control so it's not even that big of an issue
