Isn't it boring for you to use the same build?
In every game killers and survivors use the same "Meta" perks.
I used to have favorite loadout and got really bored of the game. now I'm using random perks wheel to challenge myself, i also find it fun regardless of whether the perk is "bad". surprisingly i manage to win with them as well.
Then why you use Meta perks all the time?

I have fun with the same perks. I sometimes use different perks and its fun, too. But i dont want to change my perks every round. It takes too long.

Yeah I had to take a break from running the "Meta" perks every game. It made the game dull. Switching up my perks opened up a new gameplay style and kinda made me play better too, but most of all it made the game a lot more fun.😀

I don't
There are perks I always use no matter what (BBQ & Chill for Points and Kindred cause you basically have to have it to be a decent Solo Player) and I will usually have an exhaustion perk of some kind (usually Lithe but I'll play around with it).
I find a lot of the Meta perks just kind of boring so I like to mess around with different combos and things just to see what might be fun.

I try different builds all the time. I'm trying to figure out a build with nearly every perk.

I'd use other perks, but they're too hard to get any value from. Why bother using perks you can't get value out of?

I try using meme builds all the time

With survivors, yes. With killers no. If I want variety playing survivor I will try different builds like cleansing, healing, Head On, chasing etc. If I want variety as killer I will just play a different killer.

Because there's a ton of sweaty tryhards at Rank 1 who will destroy you ingame then roast you in chat afterwards for not being 100% optimized. Its annoying, but I like to run some different builds from time to time if they work.

If i ran the meta sheep build i'd get bored, but i'm not a sheep, so i don't get bored that quickly

Yes for survivor but that's the problem with insurance perks existing rather than the devs directly fixing problems. Playing without DS/BT is basically a gamble saying "whelp, I hope the killer doesn't tunnel or they just get to kill me incredibly quickly." I'd like to run something else but I also like not just immediately dying.
And Kindred feels necessary if you're not in a SWF for obvious reasons.

Nah I almost never switch out my build. I grinded through hundreds of bloodwebs for the best perks so I don't see why I wouldn't use them.
Occasionally I'll go for meme builds like basement Bubba, Mad Grit + Agitation + Iron Grasp, or endgame shenanigans but I'll never think to myself, "Hey what if I switched out Nurse's for Surge this one game."
I get all the variety I need by playing different killers.
