Performance is now terrible on PC
Playing as killer (trickster), and my FPS is just abysmal for no reason, especially on the reworked maps. I had zero issues yesterday before the patch. I'm talking moments of complete stillness sometimes if I go for lunges or around certain tiles. It's borderline unplayable.
Is anyone else having this?

Finally, the PC gamers are suffering as we Console players suffer everyday. Horrible FPS, random freezing and stuttering.
In all seriousness though, can we please fix the performance issues on EVERY platform?

I guess they didnt fix the FPS issue from the PTB. Yikes.

I haven't played the new update yet, but on the PTB there was a huge memory leak issue for everyone in a match if Trickster was present. I really hope this is not the case for the live build.

It has been around since the graphical updates.
I noticed that my FPS usually drops after gens start to be done on the reworked mapes like autohaven and macmillian.
i guess the optimization has just gotten worse.

i got no problems actually. it looks smoother now to me.

I've had nothing but a good experience so far, in fact I find the game to run a lot smoother since the patch, I'm actually able to run the game at Ultra with around 90 fps when before the patch I was only running at around 40.
EDIT: Medium settings before update was 120fps and is the same now, just to clear things up

Lower end PCs have had fps problems for quite some time, optimization was never a console only issue.

Just had a match against the Trickers and FPS looked fine

There were FPS issues with the Trickster during the PTB. Sounds like they didn't bother fixing them.

I play on low settings to avoid fps drops like this. I don't have a stellar pc but it's definitely enough to run at least medium without issues. I guess I can try the usual reboot and stuff to see if it's any better

Perhaps not, but there are zero options to even attempt to raise the FPS on Console, plus BHVR promised optimization two years ago.

Appreciate your unwillingness to let them forget about that little goal from a few years back. I too bring it up when relevant. My poor console sweats this darn game like no other.

Just an update on my side; after I restarted my computer I no longer have the huge fps drops i was before. I don't know if steam had something to do with it or not because I started playing literally right after download.
It was just strange that it was fine last night and today bleh.

I think trickster was just very heavy on the system; a lot of people with not-so-great computers experienced FPS drops, while others will more high-end computers didn't have that many issues.
