Remove the hatch or bring back the hatch closing mechanic and an aura for it.

The hatch right now rewards failure and people who do nothing the entire game. There shouldn't be a free escape for failing the survivors objective. Someone could just be doing nothing the entire game and get a free escape if the killers fail killing everyone by making 1 mistake they aren't given a second chance from some bullshit mechanic survivors already have ridiculously overpowerd perks with 0 counters to them with no counter that give them multiple second chances for all the mistakes they make and still can get another chance by escaping even when they failed to do 5 generators either remove it or let the killer close it. "BuT YoU ArEn'T eNtItLEd tO a 4k" says the triggerd survivor main it isn't about the kills ######### it's about how unfair the way the hatch works no one should be winning from failure idiot!

As much as someone who has been doing all the work could be the last survivor and get the hatch. I love how people try to justify this thing by only mentioning those who may or may not do nothing, without any regards about those who do most of the job. The truth is, anyone who plays killer and gets a 3k, does not have any real problems with those who have to rely on the hatch, to make their escape. When I play killer and already killed 3 people, I don't care if that last one gets the hatch, as 3 kills are already a win. Sure, I won't complain if I also get the last one, but I have no problems with him getting away. Plus, he won't necessarily get to the hatch before being found himself or simply before the killer finds the hatch. And no, the hatch does not spawn, if less than 3 gens have been completed. So nobody escapes through it if, as you say, 5 gens haven't been done.

If you killed 3 out of 4 of them, they didn't win... You did.

You need to play both sides first to even talk about disparities and balance. As a killer, one don't lose points when someone escapes through the hatch. I see it as a kind of a win-win, since one needs to sacrifice 3 survivors for the hatch to open. Again, you still have an option to slug the last two survivors.

The hatch rework won't help killers in the long run. It won't make the endgame shorter by that much if by any even if closing the hatch completed the remaining generators (unless you have bitter murmur). I'd rather let the last survivor leave or jump in myself than wait for another 5-15 minutes hoping I can get a grab or an escape.

No the hatch gives a chance to one survivor, let that sink in ONE survivors, who's to say that survivor didn't do the two gens needed to spawn it? make saves, lose the killer and its the other survivors who went down quickly and farmed people?

Do you know the reason for a hatch rework? do you know why the closing idea was not implemented? let me enlighten you, its due to the problems with both of them prolonging the game due to how they play it out, while it should simply be a way to end it quicker.

The last part of your post just makes you lose all credibility and makes you sound like a killer main who is in fact salty, to insult people like this just shows you are one of the players who must be a joy to get in a match with and I would bet you blame the game mechanics for everything instead of your own ability to play the game.

More often than not as killer or survivor I see the one who contributed the least get the hatch.

Lol I'd love it if the killer could jump in and catch them from inside lurking.

But yet survivors ridicule killers for slugging.

The ultimate way to end the hatch stand off. If the killer jumps in, the last survivor is automatically sacrificed as the pocket dimension the trial is held in collapses.
