WHEN IS BHVR GOING TO FIX THIS????????
BEING DCED WHILE IN THE MATCH!!! THE MESSAGE POPS UP BUT MY INTERNET DIDNT FALL DOWN, AND IT ALSO DIDNT HAPPEN ONLY TO ME, I PLAYED AGAINST A CLOWN WHO WAS CHASING ME AND HE SUDDENLY STOPPED AND QUIT (PROB THIS INTERNET GLITCH ISSUE)

Interesting... Did you check if you internet did go down for a second? Because this can be an actual measure to make lag switchers DC.

no, it didnt go down, maybe it was steam maintenance, but not my fault. Survivors were still in the match

Random D/C is a known issue, its nothing on the players end.

Yup been getting this on my Xbox for years now. Internet is fine, stream stays up, party chat remains if I'm in one. But hello dc penalty...

Same issue twice today. 3 weeks having this issue. Ps4 user, so not only steam. I got penalized 1 hour and then 6 hours. Fix your freaking game Behavior or disable penalties. Your lack of competence is impressing. You won't get more money from me until you fix this.

That's steam not DBD/BHVR so they can't really do anything about it.
They can (and should) however, adjust how penalties work on Tuesday because they know that day is going to be problematic. It should not be as harsh on Tuesdays and give people either a longer grace period or forgive at least one DC or something. That wouldn't harm the health of the game because it would forgive thousands and thousands of innocent people and only a few hundred abusers would get away with a rage quit- that's a fair trade.

I don't get why they pentalize people for dcing anyway. They should have a bot that takes place of killer or survivor if a dc occurs.

this actually happened to me a few times on xbox recently, but it didn't give me a dc penalty which is weird.

I've seen it happen to Paulie Esther while he's streaming. He recently tweeted telling people to not press ok and just wait out the match to avoid the game thinking you DC and hitting you with a penalty.
