Indoor maps, should they exist? I wanna read some debates here.
I'm a Blight player who plays for fun, I'll tell you straight, I DC from matches with an indoor map offering, and I DC from all Larries matches. That being said, should indoor maps like Larries and others exist? In my opinion, The Game, a huge open inside map, is the only indoor map that could exist in DBD, however, I understand wanting some variety, but these maps are crazy unfun for non-stealth killers. I once broke a headset on Larries when I used to play Nurse, lol. Just looking to start a dialogue.

I think they should exist but with better designs than they have now I feel like the ones we have now are a little cramped for the most part and as for Lery's, well we won't talk about that. From survivor or killer perspective Lery's is just a no from me.

You think they should move to be more similar to the game?

Yeah maybe I feel like the game is different where the top floor is more open with more maneuverability with the bottom floor being more cramped similar to Hawkins but I like that it has both

Yes, but they need to be better designed with some killers in mind
Blight and Huntress suffer the most from these maps. Try playing Lery's as Blight, it's painful

I actaully made this post during my ban from DCing from a lerys as Blight, lol

I feel your pain.

Lerys as Trickster is even worse.

Indoor maps are fine on paper. The problem is that some have clearly not be thought out with killers in mind, especially "rush" ones like Hillbilly or Blight, but not all of them are necesarly bad. The Hospital and Silent Hill map are actually well designed and will work well with these type of killers.

Why DC so much? I love the outdoor matches, but the indoor ones are fun with different rooms and all those windows you can launch yourself through 😂 if it was just outdoor matches the game would be boring with the same sort of maps. The only maps I think I despise the most is the laboratory and the meat factory is quite literally pallet central!! Only good thing about that map! Unless of course crazy doctor is about or ghost face.

I personally LOVE Hawkins as an indoor map.
Long corridors spread throughout the map, for mobility killers to get from one side to the other, with rooms between them with cramped gameplay full of mind games. And not too many ultra safe pallets, most of them are mindgamable.

As a Blight main I like indoor maps like Lery's. I just don't like them as certain killers like Blight and Billy.
M1 killers tend to do better on indoor maps because the survivors don't have massive lines of sight to tell them which direction the killer is coming from. Those maps are also smaller, so there's less distance between objectives.
Also, don't DC as killer.

I agree, but I do wish Hawkins would get some help in some of the more... stupid areas. The upstairs is like, why, and while I do like some rooms and the stuff you've said, It's generally annoying to not be able to find gens.
