Tome challenge - That’s Rude question
This challenge seems so simple but I’ve tried 4 straight games and I can’t get it. The challenge is point in the killers direction within 5 seconds of premonition going off, and to do it twice in a single trial.
Premonition keeps going off, and I can see the killer...am I literally supposed to point with my character where the killer is even though I can see him clear as day in front of me?
Anyone already complete this? What am I missing here?

Update...yes, I’m an idiot point with your character twice when premonition goes off.

wait.. you have to point twice after it goes off once? not pointing in two different occasions?
the description for it really should be worded better if you need to point twice in a row.

Wait, so you have to point your actual character model in the direction of the killer within five seconds of premonition going off? That isn't what I took it to mean, which is probably exactly why I haven't been able to get it either lol

This. I went through 6+ matches where I should have gotten it way sooner. Figured something was wrong with it. But someone also mentioned that you can't cancel the animation of the pointing emote. Definitely should be worded better/

The thing is.. the animation seems to end before it actually does.. some final shoulder readjustments at the last second is all it took for me to think it was done, when in fact it wasn't. The game where I failed to get it, I probably started moving again as soon as the arm went down, thinking it was done, when the animation was still going.

Yes you have to point at the killer with your character.. Have you been pointing at your monitor all this time? No wonder it didn't work :p

I pointed my camera, which is tied with my character's head's movement, and which also is the same mechanic used to trigger Premonition. I never dreamed they meant my torso. What a stupid challenge lol
Edit: Omg I still didn't get it I don't think. They meant "point" as in the emote, not "point" as in the verb meaning "to turn in a particular direction". Good grief.

It actually means the finger.. Literally the pointing emote, in the killer's direction :)
And you have to let the emote fully play out (so a way to make sure it's done is to do it twice in a row, second emote won't start if the first one isn't done yet, lots of people have been screwed over because of that little detail)

I realized a second later. My goodness is this worded horribly, especially given how Premonition works, but thanks for clarifying!

Oh yeah it's one of the worst worded challenges so far. And there have been quite a few of those haha

Waiting for the wording on the challenge that'll basically be "teabag at the killer while they can't see your aura with distortion" when they have a Jeff rift

You also need to finish the full point animation to get credit.

I got it the first time, but I did it probably 20 times during the match to be safe so I have no idea which counted towards the challenge, lol.

Yeah, I did the same thing here. XD

You have to point in the killer direction whenever it goes off. Don't do it only twice just in case the killer moved or tped in case of Spirit or Nurse for example ^^
Got it on my first try. Just play normally and whenever your perk is ready, look around and if it make a sound just point in that direction ;)

"Crouch and uncrouch completely 5 times within 10 seconds of the perk Distortion losing a token.
Do this 3 times.
Complete this challenge in a single trial."

Or after stunning the killer ;p
I mean, the premonition one makes sense though.. It's too point where the killer is to potentially nearby survivors, but everyone I've seen so it just did it randomly out in the open with no one else around. Had a wraith game where I found someone (while cloaked) by themselves pointing at where I was coming from haha
But then again lots of challenges make you play in ways you normally wouldn't.. And that's what I like about it, gives me something different to try

That's rude = If BHVR doesn't want to give BPs + rift fragments
