People who are against J-flicks why should they be removed

2nd video of someone j-flicking this time with only 1600 dpi

Because it's cheating. End of.
I honestly don't care if people use it and I am quite tired of seeing this topic now, mainly because I'm mindblown at the amount of people who are trying to say it's not cheating. Use it as often as you like I don't care, just don't try and say it's not an exploit as a way of defending the use and/or the inclusion of it in the game, just say you like using it.

She switched her DPI before she swung. Her normal DPI is 1600, she held a button on her mouse to switch it to a higher amount.

Guess what? IT HAS NO COUNTERPLAY.
You can't just BS and pretend like that. At best, following your petty little guidelines, it's a 50/50. That's not counterplay.

It isnt an mechanic....
is an exploit......................

The flick arguably raises blight's mechanical skill ceiling but substantially lowers the strategic/game knowledge skill required to get hits at tiles.
Scott Jund's blight guide showed its entirely possible to use his power at almost all tiles without using an exploit, by anticipating survivor movement, understanding tiles, and planning bounces. Getting hits by instead using flicks to loop around structures bypasses what should be a more impressive combination of both mechanical and tactical skill.
Secondly, blight's lunge hitbix is MASSIVE. trying to dodge out like you might vs billy usually still results in a hit. It's obviously not an intended mechanic and it's incredibly frustrating to play against.

a 50/50 isn't counterplay? now I know you are just a troll, yes a 50/50 where survivor and killer have equal oppertunity to outplay each other is counterplay, examples of some 50/50 counterplays, faking a window vs huntress to get her to miss a hatchet, dodging a close range chainsaw with movement, LT wall tiles are a great example because its a constant stream of 50/50s between survivors and killers

He says in the comments right below the video to change dpi to 4000.
Derp.

and exploits can't be accepted as game mechanics?
Just look at survivors and their stretched res and tell me why that isn't considered an exploit.
0 -
Pretty sure he said that as a basic of playing it, is that he plays it at 4000 dpi, and answering a question that said example without dpi switching for flicking this does fit the bill. 4000 base sensitivity with no dpi switch does answer the question of an example with no dpi switch button.

Pls tell me, where do i sayed that stretched isnt an explot
and yes if it is an exploit it isnt an game machanic

Just giving an example of an accepted exploit as a counter argument for X is an exploit so it shouldn't be accepted
0 -
so lets just like, get rid of both?
2 -
I'll settle for that, no double standards is a fair standard for me

It took them 3 years (April 2020) just to double controller senstivity options.
And let me tell you that just increasing controller senstivity another time isn't the way
Current 100% sensitivity is already a lot to handle. To the point that i'm only able to play a certain number of games with Nurse or Blight before my thumbs are starting to hurt.
I can't imagine how awful it would if they would add an even higher sensitivity option that you're forced to play with in order to have fun with Blight

then add keyboard and mouse support for major consoles

Oni needed his turn angle capped. The 180 let you correct yourself after you already messed up. You can still pretty much always get a down with his current flick.
Blight's is both harder to pull off and less threatening since it only injures one health-state. So it should be kept.

We'll probably see Dead by Daylight 2 before we get that.
BHVR isn't exactly known to care about the console experience too much
2 -
Since when has changing mouse sensitivity been considered an exploit?
0 -
Its not but people think it is for some reason.
0 -
It's not about upping your mouse sensitivity, it's about using exploits to get past their standard maxmium turning radius which has been implemented for balance reasons.
For a Survivor example, look at wiggling. There is a hard cap to how fast you can wiggle. No matter how hard you press the buttons, it won't exceed this cap. Now imagine if there wasn't a cap. People could set up a macro to have the wiggle keys pressed every 0.1 seconds, for example, and would wiggle out within seconds. Sounds fair?
There is supposed to be a maximum turning radius on these Killers. It's not about 'changing mouse sensitivity'.

I found this comment while looking around. I'll check for more when I'm out of work.
"They've said they're not enabling the use of MnK on console because it actually requires a U.I. overhaul.
I believe they might eventually work on that but have said this is not a pressing issue as it requires a lot of work to begin with."

Regarding your first point, that developer has stated that it is unintended, yet they have no intention of removing it. J-Flicks, I dunno, but I know the point-turn is a feature, not an exploit.
0 -
McLean said not to get used to it, which implies that it'll be changed
3 -
Ah a UI overhaul, they sure were happy to poor a lot of time and effort into that to only go halfway on it, I mean they showed they have the tools to do it. I think they should just go for it.
0 -
It implies it will but its not set in stone, because knowing bhvr something that's going to change will happen between now and the heat death of the universe. And anytime between now and then they could always change their minds.

I hope they don't remove flicking just because I recently started tk get somewhat good at it as blight.
0 -
Oni is innocent in all of this, we need to keep him out of it if possible. Good misunderstood ol' boy he is.

Console players are already at huge disadvantage when playing against PC players, so what?
0 -
Because a blight rushing down the side of shack and lunging from the corner, across the front and then hitting me inside without needing to bounce again is not trivializing my movements /s

Can I have a visual guide the text just isn't doing it for me
